  1. I generally stay confused, I didn't see where there was a problem or question. Now I do, where did the numbers come from? I would presume they came from the same place all those other voting calls get there numbers. But I now understand why the posts.
  2. At the risk of being called a pubby apologist, if calls were placed from pcom's offices, is there really anything wrong with that? (other than we all hate those type of phone calls) I mean it is not like pubby has ever claimed to be neutral in politics. Heck, he just had a big support the democrats part at the pcom offices. If someone I supported and liked wanted to use my phone to make campaign calls, I might would let them. I'm confused, is there something about this I am missing?
  3. Maybe I misunderstood, I sometimes see, hear and read what I want to see hear and read. If so, I apologize. I think that every child should have a textbook for each class, such as history, government, science, math, english, etc. That book can be available in electronic form (which I guess would be like on a Kindle) or in regular paper book form or both. When I was in school, we had to read and study chapters of our textbooks at home, the teacher went over certain things, but we still had to study what was in the book and learn it, whether the teacher covered it or not. We had tests, u
  4. I am sure that is not the only thing your over educated prof was wrong about. Go ask your "never been in the real world" professor about those who died from 1945 thru 1955 while trying to keep the commie bastards from doing more damage than what they did. Anyone that thinks you can learn better without using books, than with using books, is so wrong that I have no desire to discuss the topic with them. It is futile. I am sick of meeting over educated people that are so stupid, they couldn't pour piss out of a boot. They don't know the first thing about anything, except what their so
  5. I find your reply somewhat sad. But the periodic table part is good. I presume you do not teach history. I also find that most liberals have little knowledge of history, not all, just most.
  6. Is that kid in the Miller Lite suit even old enough to drive a car? Children being children.
  7. I agree kids don't consume knowledge the way we did. In fact, they are sadly lacking basic knowledge. I had a teacher, who has been teaching for 6 yrs, ask me what yrs the cold war took place. When I replied, basically from 1945 to 1989, they were shocked. They thought the cold war was an actual war war. I bet you most high school grads could not list you the wars, in order, that the US has fought since it became a country, much less give you the dates.
  8. Short little youtube movie about a town trying to find out who is the werewolf (werewolf or vampire?) and kill it before it kills again. Very very funny. WEREWOLVES HALLOWEEK Cast: Jane - Kate Micucci Harvey - Brace Harris The Mayor - Jeff Lewis Elenor - Felicia Day Bill - Mark Fischbach Louis - Jordan Black Mary - Brea Grant Seer - Dorien Davie
  9. Sad thing is...they will probably beat Tech.
  10. I couldn't shot the dummy no matter how much he irritates me. And the wife knows that.
  11. I keep threatening to shoot the poodle, but the wife has figured out it's a bluff and now just says, go ahead. Kinda takes all the wind out of the sail.
  12. Why I understand your question and it's a good one, everybody else agrees with me, including my wife. The poor dog is brain damaged, I think he did too much crack when he was young.
  13. I think we should turn the clock back an hour every Monday morning.
  14. Our oldest cat loves to play fetch. I have to hid the balls as she often wants to play around 3am and is not above sacking me on the face or headbutting my face until I wake up. I have to say that out cats are much smarter than our dogs, but that my be because we have some not to smart dogs.
  15. Good news! The fancy radio, ipoddy, alarm clock the wife gave me last Christmas, will again show the correct time!
  16. I get my orders from the voices in my head. (and the wife) Most come from common sense, the rest, based on general opinion, come from one strange dark place. It is up to each person to decide which are which.
  17. Do we know how the doggie escape or why? I'm betting that there is a lady poodle involved somehow.
  18. For schools not to have text books just shows how stupid the educational system has become. It makes as much sense as an auto mechanic not having a socket wrench set. Anyone who disagrees is simply part of the problem.
  19. Our cats know there names and will come when called. They will also, if the want to, head for the bedroom when told, let's go to bed, It the stupid poodle that doesn't know his name, he comes no matter which animal's name is called.
  20. Let's be honest, the main way these type of deadly diseases get a foothold is by people who have no concern for anyone but themselves. Just like the man who flew to Dallas, TX and infected others. The aids would have never spread as fast and as far as it did if it wasn't for that airline steward, "patient zero", who knew he had the aids and did'nt care who else he killed.
  21. Hang in there, you are a tough lady. Wishing nothing but the best for you and your family.
