No, I agree with you 100%. Just stating the facts. That is not an excuse at all. I think the whole situation is crazy.

She's only 21, and currently in the process of divorcing the father. He got the beer out of a cooler the grandfather had left out. He even broke into a neighbors house, opened presents under the tree, and put on a little girl's dress that was in one of the packages.

No kidding. My back yard (which is not very big) is cracking and I afraid it's going to slide down the hill into the ditch. There's moss everywhere, and everytime you walk back there it squishes under your feet.

This breaks my heart. I feel so bad for this father. That little boy doesn't even really know his father. It must be so confusing for him.

I love that man, too. He's so sweet. He and another older man were baggin my groceries one night. I had picked up firewood for the house, and a bottle of wine for a hostess gift for a party we were going to the next day. One of the men said, "Oh, I bet you're going to curl up in front of the fire with the hubby, huh?" and giggled. I was so embarressed. The other one said, "Stop talking to the customers! Join a gym and get in shape. I only need to lose about 5-10lbs, but I get tired walking my dog up the hill at the entrance to our neighborhood. I am getting ready to be 29, walking up a hill shouldn't be so hard for me.

Until this year, I have loved every bit of it. This year, I am not looking forward to ::ahem:: my mom. Terrible, huh? I think something has clicked in her head to make her a crazy lady LOL. I don't feel like traveling anywhere, nor do I feel like putting up with petty arguments with and amongst my cousins or aunts. I guess the past year and a half has finally taken its toll at my house.... we didn't even put up our tree this year

Uggg. I am always done by now. But, I still have much to do! I got almost all of MrB's (yay! I did good for him this year!) but I still have several family members. I just can't get into the spirit this year. I am trying.... It looks like I'll be in Death Valley (isn't that what Lady Raider called it??) Hiram all weekend long. So y'all drive like normal folks on 278 Saturday, pu-lease! LOL

My husband and I did this, too. People left them in the driveway for months, until they'd just be driving over a huge, wet, mound of mush. So, we started to pick them up, and we along with a couple of neighbors called about it and they finally stopped. We didn't mind getting off the vacan houses' driveways, or the road, it was the occupied homes that drove us crazy.
