  1. Is this coming in an e-mail to your e-mail account that says its from FB? Or is it a message in your inbox on facebook?
  2. Thanks krwills. I know it will be hard. Once I realize I need to lose a couple of pounds, it hasn't been ard in the past. I am worried about the smoking part. My husband also smokes, so we are going to quit together. I will google it and read it. I am afraid he will have a much harder time then me, since he smokes a lot more than I do as it is.
  3. and you'd have to sneak her through the gate. No guests allowed.
  4. Oh yes, don't forget that. Here's the guy that checks you in.
  5. Excuse me, lumak. That's, "I heard the service is to die for, ma'am" lol
  6. Yes, and all it'll cost is a rock. Just make sure you take your .38 and wear your slippers.
  7. Oh my gosh. How nasty. My question is if it was that nasty why did these people stay? I would have left right then. Oh, nasty. Just nasty.
  8. Finally! Somthing to laugh about on here today!! lmao
  9. Don't be sorry, newguy! We are just having some giggles about the topic, not you or the fact that you posted.
  10. This is what I am thinking. I find it very hard to believe, though, that they would leave you in your car if you couldn't pay. It may work like an ambulance ride. Bill you later, but if you need it they are going to load you in the ambulance.
  11. All I ever wear are jeans. I try to bargain shop for them, but when you hate the stretchy crap, are only 5'1" and my weight, it is hard to find jeans that fit. So, I have had lots of luck with Anne Taylor Loft jeans. A lot of times they have really good sales and can get them around $20-35.00 a pair. Another brand is GAP, but I hate spending that much on jeans. They are about the same price as the Anne Taylor Loft jeans when they are not on sale. Those I have to say are the best for me.
  12. I ususally don't really. But this year I am. 1 - Lose 10lbs 2 - Quit Smoking The first one I hope will not be too hard - it hasn't been in the past, but it seems like I gained it pretty fast. I just can't eat the way I used to, I guess. The second one is going to be hard, but I know I can do it.
  13. lol - I love Widespread, and I am very jealous! Even if I no longer wear my hemp and I do wear leather and eat meat now. I do still wear my Birks and like patchouli!! LOL That's so funny you said "noodle dance". A good friend of ours is the biggest WSP fan ever. His wife will never go to shows with him b/c the "twirlies" get on her nerves. ("twirlies" are the people dancing)
  14. I promise you will love it! It light and compact. Every once and a while I will buy an actual book b/c it nice to read a "real" one. But, they are so much cheaper on the Kindle and now there a lot of free books. You can even download them wirelessly straight from your Kindle - you don't even have to connect it to a computer.
  15. I got a Kindle last year for Christmas, so it's the first version. I have to tell you - I LOVE IT!!! I am a big reader, and always have a book. This is the best gift you can give someone that loves to read, IMO. MrB is a huge reader, too, and has bugged me for a year to use it but I am always in the middle of a book lol... Sooo, in my house MrB's Kindle from my parents was his big hit. My family got me a Wii & Wii Fit and MrB got me a badly needed laptop for my birthday (the 25th). But, honestly, the best part was after all was said and done with the family on both sides, was tim
  16. I am so sorry for your loss. This thread has brought tears to my eyes. Please take comfort in the fact that she didn't suffer, like as another poster said became a shadow of her former self. One of my babies (a 15yr old doxie) has become a shadow of his former self, and we are afraid that he will need help "crossing over". Even though it is the right thing to do, it is such a very, very hard decision to make, one that we have danced around with for a couple of months. But we know what will have to be done, and life without him is hard to think about. I realize that no matter what way they
  17. Hey Weatherboy - who is the waving man? Is he the man on 92 in the white & blue house with the bee "hives" (I don't know what those are called)? I see an older gentleman out there a lot waving at the traffic. I'll keep Miss Jessie in my thoughts & prayers.
