There is a part in the first book that is a little "rough" and it probably will tick you off, but don't let it deter you from reading it. I love Sandra Brown. She is my guilty pleasure. I feel like I am watching Lifetime when I read her books, lol. I have read all of them except the romance novels. I've read all of her thriller/mystery books.

On of the best books ever. No kidding. The first 30 pages are slow, but after that I promise you won't be able to put the damn thing down. I didn't get a thing done around my house while reading any of the three books.

Eric is so hot in my head. This sounds like my hubs. He never reads fiction. I, on the other hand, read everything. I love to read. You should see our crazy book collection. We traded some books in to the Book Nook in Marietta once and got almost $400.00 credit. That's a lot of books. lol

The show is based on the book series. I don't know how closely, though, as I have never seen the show. I'd heard of it but didn't realize it was the same thing at first. I saw in ad in the back of one of the books in the set.

My husband's boss sent home the True Blood Series. I had never heard of it, but had heard of Sookie Stackhouse. Anyway, it isn't something I would have picked up, so I am glad she sent it. I am on book no. 3 in the series.

See, this is something I didn't think about. I don't think I would take that chance, though. That is just me, and my opinion. I certainly would't degrudge another pregnant woman for going through, but these just haven't been around long enough for enough testing for my comfort level. I think I would opt for the pat down.

I have been noticing that store for weeks. The name of it is Gift Spot, but the sign looks like Gift Spot and I never caught on to what it meant. Until the other thread here, I really thought it was another little gift store for nick-nacks and such. I even felt sorry for whoever opened it 'cause I just knew it was going to close soon. Anyway, I am suprised it is open in Hiram. I didn't think I'd ever see that here. We are not going to have a Boomer's style night club here.

I'm an ex-smoker (not the preachy type, promise ) and I just wanted to say congrats to ALL of you that are trying to quit. I quit Aug. 2nd of this year, and I feel so good. Food tastes good (just look at my new thighs!) and I don't hack and cough every morning. I smoked for almost 15 years, about a pack a day. I used the gum, though. I am not going to lie, I still want one, especially if I am near someone smoking. But, the urge to actually do it is gone since I found out I am pregnant.
