I think to make blanket comments on this is pretty dumb. My son is 2 1/2 I dont lock his door, but there is a cover on the door knob. When he goes to bed a night I shut his door because I dont want him waking up in the middle of the night and having a free run of the house. I have a monitor outside of his door so if he wakes up and needs something we are there. His door is shut and he can not get out for his safty. I know in his room there is nothing that is going to hurt him. If he got out of his room he could get into all kinds of trouble in the house without anyone supervising hi

3 teens playing on a raft in the water fell in and need rescue.
