Glenn Burns just said we need to stock up with enough stuff for 2-3 days. I'm stressing. I plan to make a grocery list tonight and head out first thing in the a.m. I know I need to get baby formula, wipes, candles, batteries. Thankfully we have a gas stove but I'll probably get some sandwich meat anyway. oh and dog food and bags of ice. can anyone add to my list? recipes that are good for being snowed-iced in with no power, or ideas for things to eat for those with electric ovens, games to play, anything...

I think it's a big baby. Big babies are good. IMO they tend to be more alert and easier to handle, not so fragile. Not hatin on small babies or anything. All babies are awesome

When I can't sleep, I think of a random number or letter. I picture it and say the name of it over and over in my head. I don't allow any other thoughts to enter my mind. It takes practice. I also picture palm trees. it relaxes me to think of the beach. It's like meditation.

my sister has worked very closely with "autism evaluators". From what she says they very much believe in a possible link between vacs and autism. Her son is autistic, she is a stay at home mom and has worked extensively with him. he has improved ten fold, thankfully.

ya know, I hafta say that julies mom actually makes a good point. BY NO MEANS am I saying that this is the case with th op's daughter. But it does happen. It happened to me. If my daughter was as obsessed/in love with a boy as much as I was at the age of 14, I'd be concerned. Thats just my fear of not wanting her to follow in my footsteps. looking back I missed out on a lot due to that relationship. I can't say it's a regret though because my daughter is actually the product of said relationship. OP, I like the stone mountain idea, perhaps with limo service.

I love it! I used to sell cookbooks on ebay. Sometimes the books would have food splatter on some of the pages. People didn't care, depending on the book. I ALWAYS stated in my auctions any flaws. I saw used mens underwear at a thrift store once, might have been Goodwill???

I like her, she reminds me alot of my grandmother. She's a smart a$$ and I appreciate that quality in anyone. I don't always agree with her but she has the right to her beliefs. I like her too, I didn't realize Ricky Hendricks is who they were talking about. I think they were just engaged though, not married. Thats quite a story she has, finding out she was pregnant right after he died. I don't want him to pick her either, she seems too good for him.

scallops pan seared then baked with crumbled bacon lemon garlic tilapia asparagus whole grain rolls. I bought Peppridge farm whole grain, stone baked, artisan rolls. They are soooo good, and i'm not a bread person.

My daughters braces were around $6000. We financed. She had a severe overbite and ended up wearing them 3+ years. She got them in 3rd grade and still had some baby teeth to lose. People will say wait til the baby teeth are gone but in my daughters case she was being picked on so I didn't want to wait. Her teeth are much better but i'm not 100% satisfied. We went to Dr. Justice. in the 3 years my daughter went to his office I saw him twice. I don't like that.

I just finished watching the first episode of this seasons Bachelor. Apparently the guy has been the bachelor once before and he ended up leaving booth girls in the end. anyhoo, I missed that season. His name is Brad and he's really hot IMO. I've known a few brads in my time and they are all very attractive. and of course there is Brad Pitt and Bradley Cooper as well.......Just thinking out loud. Also, did anyone else watch the bachelor? Any thoughts on the girl with fangs??
