My daughter was 2 when Columbine happened. She has basically never known life without school shootings. That's trucked up. I agree that some things just cannot be helped and there will always be crazy evil people out there but something is surely amiss. Not sure what the solution is but doing nothing obviously isn't working.

I go in my husbands wallet for lunch money on occasion but I always tell him. He will go in my purse for the checkbook or whatever. Neither of us are bothered by it.

This is the second time I've made it. It is REALLY good but spicy! (that says a lot coming from me). The burgers were nothing special but I didn't follow her prep suggestions as far as the type of buns and toppings. I seriously can't eat a cheeseburger anymore without blue cheese and hot sauce. Blondie style. Sorry, I forgot to get back to you on that. The tenderloin sounds awesome! I'm going to try it.

Same here. My husband is a morning person. I'm not. Our morning exchange usually goes like this- Him: good morning! Did you sleep well? Me: yea. I'm not a chatty person to begin with though.

People are more concerned with themselves than anything else these days. Too many blind eyes being turned by parents and neighbors. We are an oblivious and selfish society. Morals and empathy are a thing of the past... Those are just a few examples of what I think is the problem.

I didn't even hear about this until 1:00 this afternoon. I was blissfully unaware. My first reaction was and still is anger. I can't even wrap my mind around this. Seriously, my worst fear come true. I got stopped for the same thing about 12 years ago. Except I actually DID throw my butt out the window. I didn't get a ticket but the cop acted like a complete a-hole about it. Oh well. Life goes on...
