am I only one that doesn't concern myself with what other people wear? I honestly do not care how people wear their pants. From what I have read Justin Bieber does a lot of visits with sick kids and is active in charities. He seems ok to me. I get annoyed when people are judged for what they wear. I could go on but I'll stop there.

I would think the Girl Scouts would welcome the extra money. I guess maybe I just don't understand how all of this works. Is it a contest?

Is America Ready for a "Black Bachlorette"?
jennilyn77 replied to Magic Mommy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Bachelor Sean had 4 black girls to pick from. He ended up keeping 2 for a while, I believe. One of the girls asked him about how he felt dating a black girl and he said that he has dated black girls in the past. His lack of connection obviously had nothing to do with the fact that they were black. Just to clarify. -
I still can't believe we have to vote for the freedom to buy a legal product.

I rubbed a pork roast with creole seasoning, stuffed it with vegetables, and wrapped it with bacon. It is currently in the crockpot. I'm also going to make either fried or mashed potatoes and baked beans. -
I don't see anything wrong with a customer having a reasonable expectation that the cashier she is dealing with not be sick and contagious. I have had countless retail jobs in my lifetime, I have never been fired for calling in sick. Is it okay for a parent to send their child to school sick knowing that he or she may possibly infect other children? I consider that to be highly inconsiderate. Same for a manager if she knows her employee is sick and continues to allow interactions with customers. In my case, I would have never known that the cashier I was dealing with had a cold had t

Last week my cashier at Publix had a cold, the manager came up and commented on it, She told the cashier to place a cut onion in her room to absorb the germs. I was thinking she should have been coming up to her tell her to go home. Us customers don't want her germs.

I watch three channels, cable companies would lose money on me. Also, I can't look at the title of this topic without thinking of the Beach boys.

Autism...what I need to know, and who can tell me?

I think it's pretty big that you sister says that, she should know. My sisters son is 6 and is pretty high functioning, his actual diagnosis is PDD-NOS, he is on the spectrum. My sister tells me that she DOES see some similarities in our sons. My son is A LOT easier to deal with than hers was at this age though (thank god). If I were you, I think I would hold off until until he was 2 and then get a second opinion. -

My son started talking after he turned 2. My MIL always said "walk at 1, talk at 2". For my son this was true. However, he does have some sensory issues, especially with food and he does have a difficult time with transition. The therapist he sees for his food and play issues recently noticed him "stimming", short for stimulation often associated with autisim and aspergers. Google can explain better than i can. She says its the only red flag she has seen other than his late speech. She wants to evaluate him over a few more sessions before she recommends having him tested for Autisim. None of t -
Left-lane lurkers could be ticketed under new bill

My husband got a ticket for driving too slow in the left lane on Dallas highway. True story. I had to laugh because even though I wasn't there, I know he totally deserved it. He's always driving too slow. -

My husband and I weren't looking to speed, we were just looking to go the speed limit. I honestly believe it should be common courtesy that if you are traveling in the left lane and someone comes up behind you and obviously wants to go faster, that you that you should move over. -

My husband and I had a similar experience on our way to and from Chattanooga a few weekends ago. It's ridiculous that these people won't move over, Either they are completely inconsiderate, or completely oblivious. Maybe both. We were constantly getting stuck behind people who wouldn't move over. I thought we were being punked. -
That is fantastic!!! Getting my black belt is one of my greatest accomplishments to date. That test is no joke, Congrats to him!

It's really no worse than the people who feel the need to turn every thread into a political debate or bash session. Glad the little kitty is ok.

I think she upgraded. Kroy (sp?) seems like a good guy. I think they are getting their own show on bravo, and that's why she's not on RHOA anymore. Nice house.

I don't get the Kim K hate. So she made a sex tape, lots of people do. I can think of many other people far more worthy of my hate.

Well this is fantastic news. I'm still wondering though, are they moving or opening second location?

Oh, I am beyond happy for you! I have tears. Absolutely fantastic.
