My company had the party at Dave and Buster's!! I wasn't able to go due to another event but from what I heard some people had way too much fun With the economy the way it is for any employer to provide a holiday party/celebration is a very nice thing to do!!

Big mouth Shirley Phelp's was on the radio yesterday saying they are waiting on approval to protest at the Vatican. My questions is where do they get the funding to run all over the country and now the world to protest? She also said that Christian radio stations are not of God in anyway. They are just out to line there pockets with money and nothing is done in honor of God. What I don't understand is why they think eveything they say and do is what God wants and the rest of the world are sinners?? This is awful I understand that times are hard for everyone, but as usually people don't want to work for a living. If the government handout runs dry they go and commit robbery. So, within a month or so in Hiram McDonald's, Waffle House, and now Hiram Coffee House have been robbed.

At Ragsdale Elem. the 5:00 count was 1002. We got in line at 6:45 p.m. and walked out at 9:30 p.m. Yes, very long wait but worth it. I heard someone say "Is it really worth it?" I told my husband "They need to ask a solider that question." Thank you to all the volunteers and everyone who voted no matter the party. The peoples voice was heard!!!

I'm surprised that nothing has been posted on p.com yet concerning a tragedy that happened this week. My daughter found out Tuesday evening that a student from Hiram High was hit by a car while walking and was killed. If any of the specifics are not accurate please do not bash we read the info on the RIP FB page created for her and through current students. We do not know where the accident occured but my daughter received a text yesterday that the school is selling t-shirts to help the family with funeral cost because they don't have the money to bury their daughter. Same thing happened to me this year on my 2001 Durrango turned out to be the power steering switch sensor WTH does that have to do with Emissions and air quality? So, I had to spend $51.00 for the part and labor that took 30 min. The best one is a few years ago we had to spend around $400.00 for our Surburban to pass for a $50.00 tag MAJOR WTH!!!!

I had it five years ago for three months. It's a terrible sickness because at the time there was nothing they could give you to calm the cough. My mother-in-law had it gave it to me than I passed it on to my step-daughter. When I went to the Doctor I told him my mother-in-law had it and at first he didn't believe me because he never had a patient with it. Last night on 11 Alive news they said that the mug shot was taken when he was 17 years old.

Anyone heard on the scanner what's going on around Goldmine Road area? My daughter said that a State Patrol, Fire Truck, Ambulance, and PCSD flew by with sirens blasting. Prayers for all involved.
