Cleaning up the water wasn't a big deal it was the soft drinks that left everything sticky. I know that I averaged being on my bus about 5 hours each day. I had routes that were close to the schools or in subdivisions where lots of the kids would get off the bus within a short period of time so they weren't on the bus for very long. If they are sitting 2 and 3 to a seat it is still very hot. Just remind them to throw the empty bottles in the trash or put them in their bags.

I know that we are all concerned with our children riding to and from school on the hot bus myself included. Lets not forget that our drivers are on the bus for several hours and the older buses have the engine compartment right beside the driver, and as a former driver myself I can tell you that it gets really, really hot on there. If you are home when your driver comes by maybe you could offer them a bottle of water. I know that it will be appreciated.

sorry but for now if I need trails to walk on I will use the Silver Comet.....IMO we have many more important things to consider.

I loved not having to get up at 4:40 to get ready to drive the bus! About the time my internal alarm clock stops waking me up it will be time for school to start back!

That so irritates me, especially when I am driving the bus. Sometimes it makes it nearly impossible to turn and they look at me like I am the one that can't drive!

Several years ago when my daughter was in elementary school her teacher told me they would have to make sure that each child in the class got some type of award to keep chldren from getting their feelings hurt.

We just did the netflix thing also....so far it has been great. We can watch movies on our laptops or through our Wii. It is great. We were renting them through Redbox.....now I don't have to go pick them up. $10 a month and with a 4 year old that wants to watch a movie until about halfway through...all I have to do is pullit up on the laptop and if he finishes great if not I can just turn it off not feel like I have wasted any money!

I know eveyone is looking to save money and I am always looking for a good deal myself. I will pass up on many things because of the price but if I can find the items that I am looking for on-line or at a discounted price somewhere I am far more likely to buy it. What type of merchandise do you shop around for to really save money! Clothes, food, houseware, kids toys, electronics?

If something happens to one of those children....how will you feel, knowing that you withhelp information. Do the right thing make the calls. These are children we are talking about...Gods greatest gift to us. She is a adult she can make her own decisions and unfortunatly sometimes when we think with our heart instead of with our head we often make the wrong decision. In the long run you will feel better knowing that you did all that you could do!

I found one crawling on me just the other day.....I haven't found any on the dog or the kids. I will keep my eyes open now though cause we live out in the woods!
