I agree. I would much rather be remembered with a laugh than with someone that doesn't even know me trying to defend me. If some folks would get the rod out of their ass there might be room for some humor to grow.

My uncle was known as Dick. His name was Benjamin Franklin. He walked out of his bedroom naked into a room full of family once and we all discovered how he got his nickname. He ate at the same restaurant about three times a week. All the waitresses knew him well. One night his waitress spilled coffee in his lap and said "oh I'm so sorry, did that burn Dick?" Yes. And it is pretty cool. They have Elliott's car that set the speed record, they have Darryl Waltrip's Tide Ride. There is an old AMC Javelin Alabama State Patrol car, Bobby Allison's airplane. Also, if you go out Thornton Road to about the first right after crossing Bankhead there is a warehouse full of classic cars for sale.

I leave mine unlocked with the alarm on. This saves replacing a window and also gives me about 8 seconds to get off 15 rounds if they run in the right direction.
