  1. Would burning non-ethanol fuel effect the emissions test? As in would it increase the carbon monoxide in the exhaust as compared to gas with 10% ethanol?
  2. You would think simple would just come natural.
  3. I heard Lowes was looking at some property on the new East Hiram Parkway.
  4. I don't think she has.
  5. My daughter has a 2004 Toyota Sienna van. She has had the exhaust converters and the O2 sensors replaced but the check engine light came back on. The shop is telling her she needs the computer reflashed. Problem is, it has to be done by a dealer and she has had two dealers pretty much refuse to do it. The dip sheeze at Team Toyota said they would need to do diagnostic work first, that the first shop may or may not have replaced the parts and that reflashing probably wouldn't do any good. So I tell her if the guy is saying it won't work he will be sure it doesn't work. First quest

You're better off to just play along. Here are the facts: It was flying backwards. It was pulling up pine trees with its landing gear. It landed on Dallas Highway, filled up with diesel fuel at the Racetrac station and flew on to Dobbins. Show's over folks. Move along.

It was a C5. He was crossing Hartsfield traffic about the time he got to Hiram. C5's only appear to be low and slow. They are moving at the same speed as any other commercial aircraft and they are about the same altitude. They are just so dang huge that they appear to be low and slow.
  9. I have been to Sam's when I thought it was going to take six years to get through the checkout line. I always want to say SHUT UP AND SCAN MY DAMN STUFF!
  10. Go ahead and pay them. I have a big job pending with them that I need to get going on. You might be the $100 they need to turn me loose.
  11. Please tell me what was illegal.
  12. The first lady figured it out but only because the dumb a$$ closed the door. I would loved to be standing there with a sawed off shotgun pointed at his head when he turned to run with the purse.
  13. Radon has been around for a while. It just never hit the fevered pitch of asbestos and black mold. We have been installing an underslab radon barrier for 25 years. It has been so overshadowed by mold and asbestos that I have forgotten most of what I knew. Seems to me that high concntrations of radon usually occur where there is a lot of granite near or above the ground. There are test kits available for less than $20. Not sure if your friend has a more accurate way to check or if he /she checks more than one area of the house. Probably worth asking.
  14. I'll take your word for it. Can't stand to see the blabbering pig.
  15. I tried some cow tongue a couple of years ago and it was really tasty (no pun intended). Good texture and good flavor. It had been prepared by a chef that knew what he was doing and needless to say I wouldn't attempt it. Also, one of my favorite parts of the cow is the tail. If you have never tried ox tails you owe it to yourself to try it. It is like the best roast you have ever had.
  16. The reason I remember this is because of it being the location of the first Home Depot. My father-in-law and I made many trips to this first HD. Here's some history from Wiki: My link Treasure Island, formerly The Treasury, was a chain of discount stores owned by J.C. Penney. Through an acquisition of the General Merchandise Company in 1962, J.C. Penney entered the discount store market by launching The Treasury.[1] The General Merchandise Company, which began as Treasure Island, was founded by David Kritzik and his two sons, Robert and Stanley, in Milwaukee, WI. The original s
  17. Made me think of Treasure Island, under the "squiggly roof" that turned out to be the original Home Depot store at 41 and Terrell Mill.
  18. GAWD! Looks like a metal building covered with styrofoam and synthetic stucco.
  19. Give me $139 each and I'll take 'em. Hey, that's an offer.
  20. So it is safe to say you didn't come south for the food.
  21. Can you tell me what username and password they are asking for? I'll be glad to help a brotha out. Never mind. I got it. But it said I was 66.
  22. I don't think there is anything that I would go on record saying I would not eat it. One thing that I had the opportunity to eat a number of times when I was a kid and didn't was mountain oysters. I used to go to south Georgia and camp in the swamp for a week with my uncle and three of his buddies. Three of the four were hog farmers and it was always at the time of year when they would all castrate their pigs. Their big feast on the first night was to cook up a dishpan full of hog balls, drink liquor and stay up half the night telling tall tales. But I fished my butt off that day to make
  23. In Cordele there are mosquitoes that can stand flatfooted and "have relations" with turkeys.
