  1. I could tell you exactly what Obama is but I would be banned from this site eternally. And probably get a visit from the men in black. So let's just say that he is a lying, worthless bastard that never should have been allowed to so much as run for the office of president of this country, much less hold the office for two terms. We have the tail wagging the dog and WE have to do something about it. People didn't die defending this country so some con artist like Obama could come along and give it all away.
  2. We used to do that back in our hippie days. We called it The Munchies.
  3. That was going to be my question too.
  4. There is a bridge going toward Powder Springs?
  5. Mine comes nearly a quarter of a mile but we are having the same issue. Truck problems. Just picked mine up for the first time in two weeks.
  6. I didn't know there was a loss of communication. But considering the new airport is only 6 or 8 miles from the crash site and that their flight path would have put them even closer to the new airport, I think that this particular flight might have been able to make a landing that everyone could have walked away from. They dang near pulled it off landing on a two lane highway.
  7. It's late fall and the Indians on a remote reservation in South Dakota asked their new chief if the coming winter was going to be cold or mild. Since he was a chief in a modern society, he had never been taught the old secrets. When he looked at the sky, he couldn't tell what the winter was going to be like. Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he told his tribe that the winter was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should collect firewood to be prepared. But, being a practical leader, after several days, he got an idea.
  8. More of a "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner" kind of way.
  9. So why are they any different than everyone else? Most companies have made severe changes in employee health care insurance. What the people in the world of private business do is either live with it or find a new company with better benefits. Why do state employees feel that they can just put pressure on politicians and get what they want? IN my opinion the state should get out of the education business all together. Privatize education and put the burden on the parents that make these kids. One thing is for sure, thesystem we have now is just a giant, expensive failure.
  10. Fixed it for ya. Here's the bottom line. We, the taxpayers of the state of Georgia, can not afford to pay any more taxes. Between the feds, the state and the county we are paying well over 50% of our income in taxes. Might I suggest that you change career paths.
  11. The combination of higher cost, lower benefits and deductibles (we never had deductibles until this year, and just total lack of choices. Hell, we couldn't buy a no co-pay/mo deductible policy at any price. And the insurance agents are saying it happened because of Obama care. Surely you didn't think that subsaharan nubian was going to do anything good did you?
  12. I think it does. This health care act gave the insurance companies an opportunity to start stealing with both hands. EVERYONE'S benefits went down while premiums and deductibles went through the roof. Had it not been for Obama we would still have the same GREAT health insurance we've had for the last 15 years. I hope he pays dearly for what he has cost me. Worthless TRUCK.
  13. Is this a set up to rally people behind that Communist, Jason Carter? Because if it is, all I can say is to hell with him and his worthless freakin grandpa. Deal has made some tough decisions but I have yet to find one that I totally disagree with him on. Keep MY money in MY pocket and piss on everyone else is a governor doing his job in my opinion.
  14. I knew something was wrong when all the tv stations had two weathermen on at the same time. Slept through it.
  15. Took a jump through Mississippi....
  16. Sorry. I'll give you a chance. WORKING FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER...........................
  17. I try to do business with them as much as possible. Super nice folks. I have an IPA for you. Try Jekyll Southern IPA. It's brewed in Alpharettta. I buy it at the other store but it has become my favorite.
  18. My company did some work on WXIA right before the Olympics. Every morning between weather reports Guy would come out to smoke and shoot the bull with us.
  19. None of them can hold a candle to Guy Sharpe. He was a good guy.
  20. WHich is even more confusing. I like scotch from Islay because it has a very smokey flavor. Lagavulin 16 year old is my favorite. It's about $90 for 750 ml. but a bottle last me 3 or 4 years.
  21. I have never been able to tell a difference in vodka. Never been much of a vodka drinker I guess. It all taste like rubbing alcohol to me. I have had some $20 Grey Goose martinis that I thought were just awful. Give me a glass of top quality single malt scotch. Actually I prefer a good IPA to any of it.
  22. I have been working from home since 1989. I go to my office in Decatur for about 3 hours one day a week. I also go to job sites as needed through the week so that kind of breaks up the monotony of being in my home office all the time. What I do from home is construction estimating. To be honest, I don't think I could do it from an office. Too many distractions.
