  1. Well, I don't know much about the stinking part, since I'm pretty anal about not smothering myself in the smoke, and I use mouthwash a lot. But I do notice how it can stink up the house. I guess my point is that when I decide to quit, I'll just go all the way. I already know it's an expensive habit, and that's the sticking point with me. And you are right about the vapor being harmful to others around you...that's a total myth. In fact, some offices will allow this method, since the evidence shows that it poses not threat to others (although I still believe the second hand smoke thing is t
  2. I'm gonna goof off for a little while on here, but with business going like it has, I have been WORE SLAP OUT since the middle of last week! My body is still adjusting to all the hard work, so I start dragging pretty bad around 7 p.m. My bizz has been non-stop for about 3 weeks, working 12-16 hours a day, and it's finally dragging me out. So....LPPT...whatchya wanna do??? Shoot the bull for a while??? Shall I craft a controversial thread? You wanna go out dancing this weekend??? Just throw me a bone, here!
  3. I know a couple of guys who have tried this...it's rather expensive, and when you factor in part of the addiction to cigarettes is not just the nicotine, but having something in your mouth akin to a cigarette, they both decided against it after trying it for a couple of months. I still smoke myself, although lately I have tried to cut down. It's not that hard since cig's are now manufactured to go out if you don't keep puffing. So, I find myself with a cig in my mouth that's been out for who knows how long. As for me, when it comes down to brass tacks, when I decide to give it up, I'll do
  4. I should be in touch soon, I am hoping!!!
  5. Here it comes!!!! I can hear the rumble O the thunder!!! I think I'm gonna go play in it~ I'm silly like that.
  6. Just finished up a cute little older style Craftsman Riding mower, 3 speed transmission, runs great, cuts good, rebuilt carb, and all the quality control that comes with all my rebuilt items. The seat is a bit torn, but it will get the job done. Features a 7.5 HP Tecumseh engine, new brakes, rebuilt carb, sharpened and balanced blade, fresh oil, etc, etc. I replaced the front solid tires with air filled softer tires. This is a SMALL riding mower, built with smaller people in mind (women love these!) No electric starter or battery to worry with, just pull the cord and off you go. Me and my chie
  7. I am running low on broken down mowers, so please give me a call if you have any that you would like to have removed for free. Push mowers, and riders, as long as they have some innate value so I can either restore them or use them for spare parts. My bone yard is drying up!! Simply call me (678-315-8794) and/or PM me with your address, and I'll happily take them out of your way~~ Thanks!!! You can call me anytime between noon and 10 p.m. if you would like. Glenn
  8. Guess I'll just sleep in my man cave, where it's all safe and sound~
  9. I just got back taking my wife out to eat at the Mexican place by Kroger on Ridge Road...so far, just wind- but it's been windy all day anyway. No thunder or rain yet.
  10. Good point! It's just me and my chief mechanic in the shop with me when I do it....he does it too!
  11. Constantly! It's how I resolve issues, and it's always been very effective for me. My wife thinks I'm a little insane (although she could be right, but not related to the issue at hand)
  12. For those of you looking for a riding mower, I've got you a great deal! This thing handles GREAT, runs strong, and gets the job done great! New battery, new solenoid, rebuilt carb, new drive belt, and a few other goodies, new fuel line with new filter, and shut off valve. An excellent deal for the money. Glenn 678-315-8794
  13. This pretty little thing features a 21" cut with a 139 cc Honda engine. No rust, excellent condition. No self propelled stuff to mess with. Just a practically new mower that will last you many many years if maintained. The engine alone costs more than the price I am asking for the whole mower. Give me a call if interested. Thanks~ Glenn 678-315-8794
  14. Thank you! I am closed today (heading out to the fishing hole) but I'm open Mon-Sat at noon until 8 p.m.
  15. I'm a notary also, if you can't hook up with any of the others on here. My number is on my signature. Call me if you need to.
  16. Sure I do! Chainsaws, Weed Eaters, Mowers, Tillers, Edgers, just about everything that runs on gas.
  17. Tom is THE MAN!!! And I believe it's about time for him to go fishing with me again!
  18. Working on mowers!!!! And loving it outside today!
  19. Funny you say that. With FaceBook and all of that, a lot of my friends from way back will ask or comment "who is Subby"???
  20. While this is true, I have found that when I actually meet a lot of these people in person, I am usually surprised (pleasantly, I might add). People tend to "appear different" than what you gather from them just by reading what they write.
  21. Now that the rain is out of the way, I hope things finally pick up! Good Morning, everyone!
  22. Like they say.....you do whatchya gotta do! And you did.
