I am so very sorry for your loss.
-
Maybe, if you can get to 61, you might can go the looooooonnnnng way around. Same with 92, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Just spoke with PC employee. Water dept. had a roof collapse from water. They have already been sent home for the day.

Has anyone ever know it to flood like this before
Jetsmom replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I've seen the creeks flood, (Nebo Road and those back roads) but that's been years ago. -
Just went the length of it from Bakers Bridge. Had some standing water in places in some lanes, but it is passable. I noticed on 61, water streaming from some places had debris in it. Very nervous driving under those trees. Folks be careful. One more thing, folks are taking it cautiously out there. If you can't stand driving behind folks with flashers or going 25, I reccommend you just stay home.

Schools are closed. Wondering if the roads are still closed?

Can't tell from the house, but can see that the lower yard is underwater. I don't see huge splatters of water from drivers, so I don't think if went over the into the road. Been listening to lightening ALL night. We are ok, though. Hope you are the same.

Paulding Co Schools CLOSED (9/21) Due to flooding!

That's why I came here. Anyplace online, or otherwise, to verify though. Nevermind, its on the website. Paulding County School District Thanks for letting us know! -
My hubby came home and said our ditch was flooded. I didn't think it was that bad, but we took the truck down and we have a whirlpool going on. The lower yard is completely under water and just a few inches more before it is level to the road. If the rain doesn't slow down, it will cross the road. When dad built the house, I remember an insurance agent recommending he buy flood insurance since we are near a lake. He said it would start looking for Noah if it rained that bad. No one's seen a big boat floating around have they.

It was a tan van but a female driver. WSB

Adair... I bet I know some folks related to you. If true, I know a bunch related to you. Can't verify till Tuesday though...............

Yeah, the stop sign at Legion rd and 381 has also morphed into a pseudo-stopsign. Can't tell you how many wrecks I've seen there. I won't get started on school bus stop sign runners which, imo, are worse.

Tomorrow will be one of the LONGEST days EVER!

Yes, please keep us updated. I know its scary, but it will be over before you know it. Prayers sent. -
I love each of my 4 children and have zero regrets for any of them. Financially, it might be easier to have had just one -- but it sure would have been... maybe lonlier is the word I am looking for. One side note, just from watching other families -- make sure you like kids, if you choose to have more. Sounds crazy, but I'm serious.

I hadn't heard. Sad...

So sad, they are all going away....(to a better place)

Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Guess that tan van was we saw was part of the chase. It just happened to be in front of the line. Coworker said it had a male driver, so I guess I was wrong.
-
I saw her on Legion rd turning towards the SO on 381, then we saw SOs go the other way. The scanner thread reported she did wreck. I'm just worried about the child or others that may have been involved.
-
Now they went the othe way. I saw the other thread, but it was a tan van with no flat tires.

Just happened. 6+ chasing a van. Never saw a real chase before. No clue what's going on. Funny they are heading towards the sherrif's department from dallas
