I appreciate the support! If you ask around, you'll find that we have many raving fans here! King Tux enjoyed 100 percent customer satisfaction in 2009. We're going to keep that record going! The good thing about this initiative is that it's a way that people can help and it costs them nothing. We didn't raise our rates to allow for the cost of the donation. It's still just $99.99 for a complete tux rental!

I know that there are other threads on here about the catastrophe in Haiti. This is a chance for PCOMMERS to help - and it doesn't cost anything to anyone but me.

King Tux Rentals is donating $10 to the American Red Cross for every tux rented for prom. The human misery is about to explode, exponentially! People just don't understand how bad it is about to get in Haiti. I'm hoping that they just don't understand.....

We've all seen the pictures of the devastation in Haiti. The situation is grim and the human tragedy, catastrophic as it is, hasn't been played out yet! I so agree! While it works (kind of) for people to ask, as often as not, people provide the names of the well-known chains, instead of PCOM Biz Members who are our neighbors.

Sometimes it's quicker just to come on here and ask. Eventually, they'll devise a better way to showcase Biz Members for those who don't know how to fully navigate the site. But for now, if I didn't know, I'd just ask somebody.

I had wondered why some emergency vehicles were headed one way and a police car was speeding the other (I can see Barrett Lakes Blvd/Barrett Parkway intersection from here)! The chase was on, I guess. I'm just glad the "alleged perpetrator" didn't come down this way. That's over near the airfield. He was headed toward hwy 41. In the direction of Paulding!

They usually say, "unconfirmed reports" when they give preliminary numbers. It's better that they do it that way, IMO, than to wait for official pronouncement of death by a coroner/M.E.
