i am cooking my first turkey this year and i have a tiny 6lb turkey to make. i have had this bird in the bottom of my fridge for 2 days now and it is still frozen in the middle, and in the breast. i moved it to the veggie drawer this morning, but im afraid it wont thaw before thursday. i need some tips to make sure it is fully thawed by thursday. also any cooking tips would be great. i have to go to work but will be back after 5 to read over all the suggestions. thanks in advance!

check with brandsmart, we got our tv from there and it was a really good deal, at least $100 cheaper than anywhere else for the same tv. we have had it almost 2 years and its still good as new. we love it.

i had 1 little trick or treater that i dropped a few pieces of candy in his bag then he reached into my candy bucket and helped himself while i was busy handing candy out to about 8 other kids. he only took 1 thing and i couldn't decide if it was rude or cute, because you should have seen his face when i caught him. all i could do was try not to laugh, so i told him he could have that piece too if he wanted. he couldn't have been older than 3.

poor patty. this weekend just wont feel right without her old grouchy self barking at everything that moves. i'm sure she and chichi are at the rainbow bridge greeting all the new-comers properly, they were, after all, the best welcoming committee! all their big attitude in a tiny package will be missed by everyone.

it has been a hard year, i have been working on some community projects at work, but its slow going, so much other stuff going on its hard to find the time to plan it all out. and planning is hard. it has to be done just right.

i was discussing this event with some coworkers and said that if i could work 20 hrs a week instead of 40 and spend the other 20 hrs a week doing volunteer/ charity work i would be a lot happier. i got some strange looks. it wouldn't pay the bills, but i would feel more fulfilled with the work. unfortunately, we are not yet at a place financially where that is possible, but when the time comes, i think the hubbin and myself will be a lot happier with me self-demoting to part time.

with this being the first event of its kind here, my thoughts are that it takes a good bit of manpower for these local restaurants to attend these events, it costs money and you are losing staff at your business on a saturday, when you would need them more. i would imagine many of them are simply going to be observing this event to see what kind of turn out it would have and whether or not the investment of attending would pay off for them. its still new, but i think next year the event will be huge.

so you understand my dilemma right? after my first job is done in the morning i guess i will have to 'taste' my way to your stew booth. and don't even think about running off to enjoy your party and play with your friends while i slave over your huge stew pots! i will be giving out gallon sized tastes!!!!
-
if it doesnt run out quickly i will have no time to taste all the other kinds of stew and grub i mean, i like your stew and all, but hey, this is a grub tasting event. and i like pink and i hope you got the right size shirt... or i will be forced to overdress for this occasion, then complain that my cute shoes hurt my feet.

i occasionally get a strong whiff of carnations. after my dad passed away we had to fly up to NY for the funeral, the morning we were heading out to the airport i woke up and smelled carnations, it was very strong. when we got to the funeral home later that day, his casket was covered in carnations. when i was a kid i went to live with him in virginia for a year. the school i went to was a few blocks away so i walked to and from school everyday, whenever i had a few dollars in my pocket i stopped in a little florist shop and bought a carnation or 2, we had them in the apartment often when i li -
Well, seeing as how LPPT has recruited me to help her hand out some form of stew for this fabulous event, i am shamelessly bumping this thread, may the stew run out quikly!!!!!!!

my guess is that if his kid came home with a story from a muslim woman saying she hated her clothes and was treated like a piece of property and was miserable because the terrorists give her no free will, this wouldnt even be an issue. all this talk about how dare they shed a positive light on muslim religion says a lot about people. there is good and bad in this religion just like in all religions, should we be teaching middle school kids hate or acceptance? the whole problem has nothing to do with the uniforms connection, the problem people have is it was positive about the muslim religion.
