The Chick-fil-A Dwarf House in Rome (Shorter Avenue) was shut down almost 2 months ago. They have a temporary, modular drive-through restaurant in a shopping centre nearby. They hope to be open in or before November.

My friend is coming in next week, so I will probably take her to Freddy's in Marietta or Cartersville. I guess this will be a treat to watch her eat 2-4 burgers at once.

I usually ate tomatoes by themselves, not on anything else. For some reason I cannot eat red tomatoes without getting pimples on my face. I can eat yellow/orange ones without getting pimples.

There was a big bumblebee (?) that seemed to enjoy teasing/pestering me and my dog. This has gone on for almost 3 years. When I knocked it down (it was an accident), I decided to stomp on it. We were kind of tired of seeing it around. I use to knock nests with broom and run for my life, but learnt to wait until it is dark outside to stomp on them and their homes. I am more terrified of red paper wasps. They are very aggressive, they will sting you even if you are not disturbing them. They stung me 3 different times. Very painful for several weeks.

Heard about Duke's death this past week-end. It is so sad. I remember going to the Bush's factory outlet with my mother and grandmother to buy canned foods in Tennessee when I was very young.

My mother once had a fancy Samsung stove. She only had it for about 3 weeks, she had something baked in the oven, it caught on fire and the door was locked, would not open. I had it unplugged and was ready to push it out of the kitchen.
