My heart also goes out to the teachers and school workers who did not make it home to be with their own families. My grandkids were lucky and made it home; but I would be forever thankful to a driver or teacher or custodian or cafeteria person who stayed with them if it was necessary!!

My sister has a valid license from another state. How does she get a GA license? Will she have to take a test? Thanks so much

I did declaw; but not for all of mine; depended on their behavior. My theory was that; at my house, they would be super loved and pampered but wanted to keep my furniture in tact. In exchange they get one heck of a home.

This is what my daughter is making: Buffalo Cauliflower Bites Spinach Balls Cheese Balls (string cheese cut into bites, roll in milk, bread crumbs, bake- serve with maranara sc) Cheese and Pepperoni Bites (crescent roll dough half sheet, pepp and cheese, cover with other half sheet, braise with butter and bake) Kabobs (meatballs, sausage, pinapple- with cajun and sour cream dip)

I do think he was a very talented actor and literally played a multitude of different characters. Hate to hear of his death for his children and partner.

If I were still working, that is exactly the way I would have had to go. I am so thankful I am retired. No doubt, some of my previous work mates are in the same situation.

Well the teachers aren't home with their own kids a families; either. I think they were damned if they did and damned if they didn't. Hats off to the buses who did get the kids home and hats off to all caretakers. I once worked at a hospital. We stayed the night in the admissions and ER registry office. There are many people out there taking care of others. Hats off to all of them.

It took almost an hour on the bus for granddaughter to get home from Paulding High. So hard to get stuck trying to get home; just pray everyone makes it home safely.

last night got lost in Atlanta - so stupid, I know. My daughter needed to catch the train. I found myself at a red light with a cab driver. I motioned to him and rolled down my window. I asked if he could tell us how to get to the train station OR to Piedmont hospital (which is very close). He seemed not sure and then said, it is really difficult to explain; please follow me. He took us about 5 blocks; jumped out of his cab and told us = turn right here; you will see it. How KIND was that??????? Really - nothing in it for him - he was just being KIND. Well I just put my daughter on the train last night to head to PA. They just got another 7 inches yesterday and it is below 0. My sister is moving down here with me and daughter and sis leave tomorrow to "drive" down here in that weather. Ev one in north sends me pics when it snows and a I get so jealous.

OK, try taking zinc tablets. Wont hurt him. My brothers feet smelled so bad, we kept his shoes outside. As an adult, someone told him to take zinc. it worked.

Sister moving here next week from out of state; has experience in deli and loved it. does anyone KNOW someone? any suggestions for getting her foot in the deli door? Thanks so much.

I used the bread machine a few times but is seems stiff and dry. Any secrets out there? or recipes?

Not sure here either; but probably a really big salad with avacado, feta, pear, greens and toasted pecans. Might add some chicken or maybe a no meat night.

Well at least I am not alone. I also kill them with a napkin or paper towel and never have to smell them.
