So once again....a missing person who was never really 'missing'. This is why LE has so many problems locating those who are truly in need.

Guns Seem To Be The New Latest Trinket For Georgian's.

Strange. -
People have died on curvy roads, people have died on roads that are dead straight and level. You can never engineer complete safety, it is a school in an area that is still 'country' and is just a fact that must be dealt with. In the end the responsibility is on the drivers.

I was there and three people were arrested, two females and a male. If you only saw two females as you claim I once again say you did not see the entire incident.
-
Apparently some did not see the entire incident and are only speculating after the fact. A Hiram officer was trying to arrest these two and ended up in a fight. Those other officers were coming to help him.

No....they go to the general fund.

$43? That is in the normal range. I though we were talking about an actual high price.

Its not a cheap business. The expense of getting a product on the market is enormous and that does not count the billions wasted on products that don't get approved.

Left-lane lurkers could be ticketed under new bill

Well...lets just say an officer is on the interstate and sees a car in the left lane doing his best to match speed with the car beside him even though 40 cars are stacked behind him and a 1/2 mile of clear roadway is in front.. Pretty simple and it is a pretty common occurrence. -

Here is the bill....it has provisions for crowded roadways. -

I misunderstood your comment. I was referring to the previous discussion of clauses which made the law pretty much unenforceable on the interstates due to the "traveling the speed limit" clause. This bill removes that clause and adds punishment just for traveling in the lane at any speed on any controlled access highway. -

There is no provision in the current law for punishment....this bill is to set a $75 fine. -
The one by the old courthouse is in Dallas.

Dry? You can buy beer all over the county in stores. Although there are no package stores in the unincorporated parts of the county, Dallas and Hiram both have them and Hiram sells on Sunday. Other than that there are endless places in Hiram, Dallas and the unincorporated area to consume by the glass 7 days a week.

They will get it one way or the other. No state income tax? Expect property and sales tax to rise to cover it. There is no free lunch.

There is always a typo, the contract is purposely misread or it is never compared to the number of people supplied so someone on the outside can comprehend it. People see 21 million as an amazingly high number yet simple math shows just 3 of the agencies could use 127 million in practice ammo by them self. It is all in the perspective.
-
Huh? I am very familiar with the firearm qualification process specifically as it relates to LE agencies who issue both the duty gun and duty ammo as a matter of policy. It is without question that different rounds, even the same grain, impact the target differently out of the same gun which is why it is necessary to zero the sights. Also, we are not talking about the FBI because they are under the DOJ and not the DHS. Even so, the Winchester bonded PDX1 is their issued duty ammo and they do not have some hodgepodge of "agent choice" ammo out in the field. Furthermore, the Coast Guard t

Very good.....I also had it several times when they started up in the deli setting in the local gas stations.
-
Fed LE qualifies with what they carry as do many local and state agencies. Some agencies do go cheap but it does not come without added risk because different types ammo have different points of impact out of the same gun.
-
Many agencies qualify with what they carry, it is the only way to ensure that reliability and accuracy are standardized.
-
.....and actually most of these contracts are being horribly misread. Most are 'up to' contracts which are common in large federal bids. The Gov asks for a guaranteed rate for up to a given number over a span of time then what is needed is ordered as the yearly budgets come out. Just because a contract is for up to 100 million widgets over the next 5 years does not mean all will be purchased.

DHS has well over a hundred thousand sworn officers under its umbrella with dozens of federal agencies along with the federal LE training centers. Just the top three, Border Patrol, ICE and Coast Guard have over 90k members. Even at the low end of the normal training schedule using 100 rounds per month practice and four quals you are looking at 127 million practice rounds needed just for those three agencies. DHS has nothing to do with the Department of Defense.

The internet allows you to see people in their true form. They are able to anonymously give opinions with no threat of being called on it like in real life face to face. -
It is certainly not the fault of the server.
