  1. No one said the white community does not have its own problems. However it is no where near the epidemic status that you currently find in the inner city which are some of the most violent places in this country.
  2. Unfortunately until the moral compass of the inner city black community does a complete turnaround so they start producing young males in greater numbers that want to serve the community they live in this is what you will get. The crime rate and violent crime within these areas are at epidemic status.
  3. Bullying....lol. What the inner city black community does not like is the law being enforced. Every drug dealer, hustler and gang member was just a lovable kid who was turning his life around. The black community is content with the violence that surrounds them, the amount they die at their own hand is not even comparable to what happens in interactions with LE. It is to the point when someone is murdered on a busy street corner no one sees anything. The created the environment and work daily to continue the cycle.
  4. I think it is still up in the air what exactly transpired. No official findings from the outside agencies investigating it or from the medical examiner have been released. The star witness stating he was surrendering and who made no mention of the attack on the officer is now a suspect in the same robbery. The incident also occurred in a community that embraces a "no snitching" thug mentality and the hate for LE is so great that credibility is hit or miss due to bias. It is best to see what the physical evidence will reveal.
  5. ...but the suspect surely knew he was a robbery suspect. That completely explains his violent attack on the officer. Situations like that are the most dangerous for LE. You approach a known robbery suspect using violence of action because the propensity of violence is high. The guy you stop for speeding with the dead girl in the back seat is the one who will kill you the fastest.
  6. Wow....talk about filling an article with bias. "often only to execute a search warrant on the word of a paid informer". BS. Any search warrant is based on probable cause that is approved by a judge after stringent review. I never found one who would sign just based on the "word on a paid informant". Normally there has to be a buy out of the residence under police supervision by that informant where the drugs are collected as evidence for the judge to be persuaded. LE moved away from the "Andy Taylor model" just as society has moved away Otis Campbell type of criminal, society
  7. It goes back to the fleeing felon law from the common law days. Most states followed that precedent and allowed LE to use deadly force to apprehend a fleeing felon, without question those who were armed and dangerous. In the mid-80's it was reviewed by the USSC after an unarmed burglar was shot fleeing with stolen property and they restricted the practice to felons who were armed or presented a danger to the community. Bonnie and Clyde could legally happen today in theory.
  8. No....profit margin is the amount kept by the company after expenses. You could make $500m in profits and lose money.
  9. What does that have to do with anything? If you look at their financial sheet their profit margin is running around 8% this year which isn't very strong. Out of that $847m in profit they only end up with around $70m after expenses such as overhead, salary and products. That is a bare minimum amount for a company that size if they want to reinvest and grow themselves. They certainly aren't stacking it away.
  10. Very true. LE in nearly every state has exemptions in certain circumstances. Without the intricate details of the investigation it is impossible to make a judgement at this time. If the officer believed the suspect who had just committed several forcible felonies was still a danger to himself or others or that he was armed himself then it is likely justified. Also, when someone attempts to take a deadly weapon from you, cop or Joe Blow on the street, he is no longer considered "unarmed" in the eyes of the law because intent to do deadly harm is realized by his actions. If there was a figh
  11. He was charged with concealing a death in Douglas which is pretty much a low end felony. Low end felonies always have bonds which he apparently made. Like it or not that is our system which our Constitution dictates.
  12. Ahhh....leave them alone. Society needs a way to identify the douches.....this one works every time.
  13. Conversation with yourself or are you just bumping your threads to the top?
  14. It was a probable cause hearing, not a trial. The entire point of the hearing is to present the evidence, circumstantial or physical, that would lead a reasonable person to believe he committed a crime. If the judge rules the standard was met it moves on normally to the grand jury. It is a much lower standard than what is faced at trial where you will see a much more refined presentation of the evidence.
  15. Once again...clueless. Glad we know what your 'cause' will be for the next 2 months for the dozens of different threads you will create. You need your own locked forum.
  16. LOL....is this your new cause? Will we get to enjoy every post from you for the next 2 months where you portray yourself as some victim of the new slower traffic move right law? I am so excited, look at my surprised face. Oh...BTW....this blather has absolutely nothing to do with traffic laws so once again you don't have a clue what you are talking about.
  17. So once again you are the only important one one the road....got it.
  18. Another one person conversation you keep bumping to the top.
  19. Do you live in a fantasy world? You always seem to relate the unusual happenings in the world to you own life, repeatedly, for months at a time.
  20. Congratulations....self centered people like you are the problem. Now we have a law to deal with you. Slower traffic moves right, it isn't up to you to decide if they meet the criteria to let them pass or not.
  21. BS....it is an attempt to curtail dangerous situations on the roadways. At one time people understood the rules of the road, slower traffic moved right and it allowed passing to be on the left. That resulted in the smoothest traffic flow with the most predictable behavior. Now people drive head up ass, when the left lane is blocked it forces people to pass on the right and otherwise weave through traffic to complete the maneuver which is all unnecessary. This lane blocking behavior actually creates a danger that wouldn't exist otherwise due to impeding the natural flow. I also guaran
  22. It is just putting into law one of the most basic rules of the road because we have so many clueless drivers out there who need someone holding their hand to make them drive correctly. Same with the move over laws and such, it should be common sense but you have to make the conduct illegal to make people do what is right. It's about traffic flow, not speeding.
  23. So you post one of your 20 topics a day....no one responds....so you wait 24 hours and respond to your own post? You need your own password protected forum.
  24. Everything government does costs money. Repaving a road, building a school, hiring more fire fighters, repairing a water line. The citizens don't vote on every decision, that is what you elect them to do and in the end they spend our money to do it. The decision made in the Hobby Lobby case is a completely different scenario.
