I understand, Pubby had his ass handed to him in the primary and thankful since he has admitted having no knowledge of the court filings and motions that affected the airport in the post he was running for. (Speaks Volumes) As for "bought and paid" for the board. Maybe an initial investment back in 2003 or such, but has relied on paying membership, commerce, banner ads or such to keep it paying him

Not trying to gang but just wish he could answer a direct question with a simple reply. Guess after awhile I myself get agitated a bit by not getting getting a truthful, straight forward response. He himself admitted he has not educated himself in the lawsuits/motions concerning the Airport, yet still will post an ignorant uneducated "expressions/opinions". I agree, go to your Commissioner. Better yet, get involved and do some Open Record Request. You just might get floored at what you learn

Once again you have lost me as you can't stay on topic but tend to "venture" off. You feeling ok Pubby, are you on some meds? Once again I wish folks would understand there is no ANTI group against the General Aviation Airport, Industrial growth, or JOBS!! My understanding is the Anti-Commercial group formed after being hit upside the head that the county had secretly done a deal to make the GA commercial. Seriously, think a majority voted against the idea of an Airport TWICE. But it was built anyways with free money (PFFT). So a majority had to accept the idea. How's that Airport wo

Ok Pubby, for chits & giggles to ponder on in YOUR mindset. Who knows who is backing the Plaintiffs lawsuit? For all we know could be The Firm that represents the County, on the taxpayers bill, could have done it to ensure income and delaying the court cases via motions to delay. Therefore, collecting billable hours

Pubby, let me ask you this and once again I would like just a couple of simple replies and not a thousand word essay concerning how a fish travels in the sea. I'll start with some things. Motives and deceit by whom? Keep in mind re:Airport from what I have read the Plaintiffs are ready and willing to go to Court before a Judge and/or Jury as they have their factual information. The County are the ones pushing this off and spending tons of taxpayers $$$ doing it. Why do they not want a day in Court and be done with it? It's that simple and I myself would have to honor what a Court determine

What bug is inserted in your arse? I only asked a couple of questions from you openly on your board, but you decide to go off on another planet or such. Would you respond and answer my questions specifically, or you just trying to spin it? I truly believe you are showing some ignorance here. Heck, I'll settle for a "no response from me" at this time.

Thanks. I have read, but might be mistaken, that their is another half employee. My understanding is Blake earns (cough) two paychecks from the County yet has a "termination" contract in place if his employment is terminated. With that (if correct) being the case, is he a contracted person or an employee? Georgia has a right to work law where an employer can fire anyone at will. Yet Blake still has a County issued vehicle to drive to and from work while living in another county?

Let me ask you this Pubby. Aside from the thoughts Delta and/or the City of Atlanta is paying for the lawsuits which is a huge unknown. Do you not think that a growing number of people have taken interest and getting involved in the local government? Such as attending BOC, IBA, PCAA meetings. Forget about lawyers or such, do you realize folks have taken to exercise their right for Open Records Request that have opened up some interesting things? Additionally, how many full time (not talking about construction or contract jobs) Paulding County jobs have been created since the opening of the

OK, I see they eliminated three positions that have apparently been vacant for months but appears the County has been operating without these positions filled. Other than the assistant, can someone please fill me in on the difference of disciplines the County Administrator VS County Government Services Director held? It appears to me there was an overlap in those two positions alone.

Well, no doubt as the tabloids state. I believe the back taxes came from a former "marriage" estate settlement.

I would hope so after about $6.5 million in bonds have been issued to date not to mention the State of Georgia is booming in filming productions hungry for studio space. Do an open records request. You might find out the thousands of jobs promised tend to tie into a couple of folks, and a bunch that are "contracted" out to promote and manage the facility. How's that working out??? Drive by there and snap a couple of pics. Last I've heard the entire complex is vacant, and has been.

Great question. If memory serves the IBA called a quick and fast emergency meeting to announce placing the movie studio up for sale and approving a contract to hire someone to market it............and NO discussion was made at that called meeting!!!! Just rubber stamp it! My understanding, and I could be wrong. By law, do they not have to post and advertise any meetings they have to the public to make decisions concerning taxpayers??? Such as so the public can attend? Example, the idea of placing the studio for sale was never mentioned in a regular IBA meeting but dropped in an emerge

Additionally I think the former county admin, Mike Jones, is knowledgeable about doing background checks

Speaking of parks I still can't understand why the Veterans Park was built at the Courthouse/Admin complex. Granted it looks great, no doubt about it. But a couple of things would concern me. Why spend SPLOST money because it's just there when the county can't even maintain the current parks they have? That has been noted in a couple of BOC mtgs. Again I think it's a beautiful park, but I just can not understand why a park would be built right next to a busy highway. This park is just a few feet away from Highway 278 -

So you approve of appointed folks on different boards having the ability to issue bonds for millions on the backside of the taxpayers in Paulding
