  1. Our favorite is Green Mountain Coffee Nantucket Blend. I use Splenda for Coffee flavors available in the coffee isle at Ingles and Walmart. I get the kcups at Sams.
  2. Thanks everyone! We ended up going back to Mattress Firm because my hubby was completely satisfied with the queen set we got there about 6 years ago. We got a great twin set for my mom and it's being delivered tomorrow. It's a Simmons.
  3. I'm looking for a twin bed mattress and boxspring. I'd love to get it in Hiram or Dallas. I don't want top of the line but I don't want one that won't last either. Has anyone bought from the mattress stores in Hiram or from Big Lots in Dallas? How is the quality and the price? Any where else y'all would suggest? Thanks!
  4. I took my granddaughter to the park the other day. I grabbed the Kindle Fire instead of my regular Kindle to read while I was there....Not! lol You can not read those things outside! So glad I kept my other Kindle. Do love my Fire inside tho!
  5. I've been reading some good unknown authors on my Kindle...most of the books have been less than $3. Here's my recommendations... The Mill River Recluse by Darcie Chan Diva Las Vegas by Caroline and Steve Dries Caroline is one of the writers and producers of the Vampire Diaries, which I didn't know until after I read this book. Jim Knighthorse series by J.R. Rain Vampire for Hire series by J.R. Rain I have a Kindle Fire that I got for Christmas....Love it!...Just don't take it outside to read...can't see the screen! I also have a regular Kindle that I keep for outside reading.
  6. Just watched it for the first time tonight. I think I'm hooked. Heard both of the above mentioned ladies sing!
  7. Yes, they are wonderful and do great work!
  8. I use both of these doctors and have been very pleased!
  9. Love mustard base bbq sauce. You can get it at Ingles. Maurice's. Yummy! I also love Fleet Landing Restaurant on the waterfront in Charleston. www.fleetlanding.net They serve true low country red rice. One of my faves!
  10. Rock and Roll Heaven has opened up and let her in. Can you just hear the band now!
  11. I'm so happy that Justified is back on FX. It was great last night. They've also added a new star...Desmond Harrington who is Quinn on Dexter. I can't wait until the next episode! Oh, and Royal Pain is on tonight!
  12. And know we know why Bobby Deen has a new show called Not My Mama's Meals! I've tried a few of his recipes...but I've made them even lighter so I can't really judge them as Paula's lightened up.
  13. That is great! Have you tried it? Now I need to find out how much sugar is in it. My hubby is both gluten and sugar free...he won't ever do Splenda!
  14. I have two. Maximum Auto Repair in Dallas. Jimmy and Sherry are great! Jimmy has always explained fully the problems with my car and what he needs to do to fix it. He has gotten the job done correctly, in good time, and at a fair price. Sherry has always been very friendly and helpful. I had my 5 yr old granddaughter with me once while I waited on a repair. Sherry was super with her!! Very helpful. Gotcha Lookin Good in Hiram. Russell and Dianne are so friendly and stand behind their work. They do a great job on my car and my husband's truck. They make our old cars look new
  15. I watched it for years but stopped when I went back to work...any of you as old as I am...do you remember Karen Wolek the "prostitute" who was married to Dr. Larry Wolek? I named my oldest daughter after her...Karen. lol I love the actress who played Karen...Judith Light! Also loved "Megan Gordon Harrison" who was played by Jessica Tuck. I enjoyed seeing her on True Blood until she was killed off.
  16. No, we asked the nurse when we got in. She said I wouldn't need it.
  17. Yes, I do have Sleep Apnea and my doctor's nurse told me to bring my cpap. I did but it stayed in the car.
  18. Hubby made his fantastic chicken and vegetable soup. Yummy!
  19. Paulding Outpatient Surgery staff rock! Wow! I was blown away. From the time my husband and I (the nervous one having my 2nd colonoscopy) walked in the front door until we walk out the staff were absolutely amazing! I've been to 3 other places, not in this county but in the same area, having my first one done, being with my husband for 2 and my mother for 1. Let me tell you that you have a private room, your own tv, and heat and air conditioning that you control at Paulding which was wonderful. So much better than hearing all the "sounds" from other patients and they hearing yours. It als
  20. My husband and I both voted. Our kids are out of school now but we still have grandchildren in the Paulding system!
  21. I just finished reading The Mill River Recluse by Darcie Chan. It is the best book I've read in a long time. I really am sad that I came to the end. It's available for 99 cents on Amazon for Kindle and 99 cents on Barnes and Noble for Nook. I've even emailed the author about how good her book was!
  22. Elite cleaned my gutters and fixed the pole things that stick out of our bathrooms and kitchen (I'm so technical with my words!lol)and they did a great job. Very nice people too! My hubby was so thrilled! I will have them back next year. Oh, and Scott...my gutters won't be as bad then. Thanks Elite!
  23. We've had an upright freezer for about 25 years. I will not have a chest freezer. My inlaws did and it was a pain having to dig to find what you wanted...it was always at the bottom!
  24. Yes, the popular authors are still expensive but I've had my Kindle for a year (Keyboard one) and have only bought 2 popular authors' books. I am really enjoying reading the new and lesser known authors. I am reading The Mill River Recluse right now. I got it for free and it's pretty good so far! And yes, like Kindle on Facebook. Oh, and I love, love, love my new Kindle Fire!
  25. Since I have a kindle fire I get Kindle Prime free for a month. It includes free 2 day shipping. I will add that this order came faster than any other I've made with them. Which Kindle are you getting? I have 2. The first one is the one with a keyboard at the bottom. I enjoyed that one but after a year of using it I really wanted a touch screen and with the FIre not being much more than the touch I asked for that this Christmas. I'm not sure yet if I'll keep the keyboard one or sell it. I hope you enjoy your Kindle as much as I have!
