Thanks for the info!! Which corner, the NE or the SE?? They won't be able to get very many cars in, on the SE corner. The small lot beside the old Garden Shop, is not that big.

I waited tables for a long time and even back in 1989 to 2000, the minimum wage for servers was $2.13 an hour. I loved my job but, I can't do it anymore. It is hard work and you have to hustle and bustle, for those tips and I've seen many people who wouldn't tip. When you order a meal and you have a large party, you "agree" to pay the 18% when you place your order. I'm OLD Fashioned and I don't believe in Women Pastors, either!!!! We usually tip 18%+ when we eat out and sometimes we tip about 40%.

Yes, a couple of months ago her dryer would't turn. The belt had broke, so I go get the belt and take it to her and "WE" fixed the dryer!! Her washing machine is over 20 yrs old, still works fine!!!

It got bent somehow and the little flap thingymajig won't close all the way. She'll be replacing it, that's for sure!!! Something like this only happens to my children!!!

My Daughter sent me a text message saying that her dryer wasn't drying very good, she went to investigate and look wat she found???? The squirrels like their nuts toasted!!!

I'd bypass calling the Insurance Company!!! Get an estimate or two before you call them. Like this post states, it might be a waste of your time and the Insurance Company still may consider it a "claim." We had to replace the kitchen floor in our rental house, for this same reason. If you have to replace or repair the actual floor joists, you would need a permit from the County Building Inspectors. If it's just the "flooring", you should be OK without a permit. Not unless things have changed since 2002.

When the new system is in full operation, I'm pretty sure that NO ONE will be able to hear Police transmission on any scanner, I could be wrong but, we will se!

We typically don't carry cash, we use credit cards and we pay them off every month. We use them solely, to get the points/cash rewards. We will rethink our credit card usage, if this affects us!!

They should be starting the new trunk system at anytime now, I may be using the wrong words but, a new system that we (scanner listeners) can't hear.

I used to fix Chili Cheese Dip, and we would eat on it all week-end. It's the same as the Cheese Dip recipe I posted above but, I'd add about 4 cans of Chili and 2 lbs of Ground Chuck. But, everyone is different and have different tastes.

Welcome to Pcom, I know the Weather Person, can't "always" be right but, I'll wait until Monday to see what is going to happen on Tuesday and wait for Tuesday, to see what the weather is going to be like on Wednesday. I don't put too much faith in the Weather, that is forcasted more than a couple of days in advance.

Why did my post from another thread, end up in this topic? MY post about the footlong sandwich has nothing to do with this thread/subject???? I have spoken to this family and the Man/Father, just can't find a job, so he is doing what he can to pay bills!!! At least he IS trying to do "something" to stay afloat and NOT out stealing, robbing banks and so on.
