The Shell Station has been there almost 2 yrs. That QT was my favorite place to stop, on our way back from our Dr visits by Cobb Hospital.

The renovated RT stores have less fountain drink choices as they used to have! That used to be a Quick Trip, not a Race Trac.

Why is this, may I ask? RaceTrac (original Hiram location) is so crowded by all of their shelves of groceries and stuff! I'd rather go to Quick Trip any day!!! In September, the RT on Wendy Bagwell will close for renovations.

Helping Hands of Paulding County, Dallas, Ga is in desperate need of food. When I left there Tuesday afternoon (I'm a Case Manager), half of the shelves were bare!! If you or anyone could find it in their hearts to donate some food, that would be AWESOME!! We have a lot of people in this county who depend on Helping Hands to be able to feed their families. Thank You God Bless You!! We're in the New Ga area and can meet at Publix for pick ups, if needed. Also, for monetary donations they can buy food from The Atlanta Community Food Bank, for $.16 per pound. That's a lot of food!! Just writ

I have used Dr. Michael Laur at Village Podietry off of Cadillac Pkwy. If you're going to GreyStone Power in Dallas, just as you turn left off of Cadillac Pkwy, it's immediately on the right. It's a red brick building that has a black wrought iron gate. I've used this Dr since 2007, maybe. I wouldn't hesitate to see him again, either!!

Me too!! I don't even buy much at Aldi's. However, I will buy some fruits (watermelon and oranges) and some veggies (onions, tomatoes, potatoes, squash, mushrooms, celery, sweet peppers and If I'm going to be eating or using then real soon!! I really go to see what all is on their second isle. The seasonal and such items. Also, eggs and maybe, just maybe a gallon of milk every now and then! Can't wait until this new store is in operation. Oh and talking about "store brands," I very rarely buy any. I've never found any that I was impressed with. You can't hardly go wrong with store brand

It's that time again, the produce is for anyone aged 55 and older. There's NO income requirements to meet. All you need is your ID to prove your age and that's it. You don't even have to live in Paulding Co. However, someone 54 and under can NOT come get food for someone who is 55 & over. Tell your Family and Friends about this give-a-way. We never know how much food it will be, there's NO bathrooms so please come prepared. You do NOT have to get out of your vehicle, just be patient, make sure you get in line off of West Memorial Dr then onto Hood St. This is across the Street from Joa

We never did like the overpriced mediocre chicken. They'd give you one small ranch dressing for your Chicken Basket. So you'd have to purchase more!!

We were in Hiram today and saw a work crew working in the most recent closed location of "Chicken World." We asked one of the men working, what was coming to this place and low and behold he said............ a new Italian Restaurant owned by the same people who own the Marietta Diner and their other Famous and widely known restaurants!! We can't wait until this place opens. For those not in the know of what or where Chicken World used to be, it is directly behind the Checkers Drive Thru fast food place at the corner of Hwy 278 and Pace Rd. I don't know WHY their place called Paisano's,

Paulding is in the news more than ever!! It's getting just about as bad as Douglas County!!!! It really pains me to say that, it REALLY does!!!!!!

These two buildings are GONE, completely!! And the Old Motorcycle Shop on 92 near Morningside Dr. You know, the one that used to be right beside the dog breeder. And the two brick houses that used to be on the Easy side of Hwy 92 in that area. And the house that's between Travis Tritts Recording Studio/Warehouse, where all of the landscape bricks are, behind a fence. The pallets of blocks have been moved back and the fencing all along the front of both of the houses. So much is going on around here and I'll be glad when it's all finished!! It's FREE Produce Day Tuesday 04/18 10-2. Located at Shiloh Baptist Church, which is BEHIND Helping Hands of Paulding Co. Just follow the line of cars, we just ask that you DO NOT cut in line. You MUST be aged 55 and over., they will be checking ID's You do not have to live in Paulding County but, we never know how much produce we will get so, it might not be worth the drive for folks coming from other (far away) counties!! You (anyone under age 55) can NOT come pick up for someone who is 55 or older!!! There are NO BATHROOMS, please come with your patience. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!

No assumptions just solid fact but, I do know that the DQ is going in "The Village at New Georgia" shopping center.

Yes, definitely a DQ is coming to New Ga. Not sure exactly what location (Ridge Rd side or 61 side) AND Ridge Rd "may" be getting a McDonalds somewhere on the SE corner of Ridge Rd and Bakers Bridge Rd. Not sure if that's going to be a good thing or a bad thing. Sometimes McDonalds seems to attract a lot of "unscrupulous" folks!!!!

Can't do THAT!!!! Once you rent out a room or whatever, you can't enter that space without their consent. You have to go to the courthouse and file for a dispossessary (sp?) warrant, MAKE SURE YOU LIST ALL OF THE ITEMS THAT HE OWES YOU FOR!!! Like past rent due, cleaning fee, and so on. I hope you got his Soc Sec #, so you can track his employment and garnish his wages!!!
