Sears has never had any clothes that I liked. The quality, the styles and sizing never fit me like I needed. I’m not into name brand clothes so that was never a problem. But, the quality and the fit, was the key factor and their clothes just wasn’t a match for me.

Good deal! I wasn’t sure if it could be done or not. I’ll keep my eyes open, for the old threads. Thank You!

Please get there early, I’d say by 8:30 at least. Make sure you have plenty of gas so that you can leave your car running to stay warm. Also, there are NOT any bathrooms available!! Helping Hands will be closed for regular business on this day.

A man?? He has boobs. Nowadays you can’t tell who anybody is, Men dressing like women and women dressing like men. I’m not talking about transvestites, either. You don’t know whether to address someone as Mam or Sir.

Is there a way to close or lock old topics so that no one can pull them up and post something new? The latest one was a post from 2010, why?????

Sears in the Arbor Place Mall will be starting their Liquidation Sale December 02, I’ll be sad to see it go but, I’ve never really liked anything they had. The clothing they sold never appealed to me. You do know that when a store does liquidations, they jack the prices up to full retail then, sell what they can, then they’ll mark it down 10% and on down to whatever and ship off all remaining unsold items to places like Big Lots, Bargain Hunt and so on. It was good while it lasted, I guess.

The shelves are looking better but, the food goes out as fast as it comes in. We’re always in need of canned foods, boxed foods and single serve foods in bowls. Pop top cans & bowls are great for children and homeless people. Thank You!

Today at work (Helping Hands) we weren’t writing clothing vouchers because the Clothing Center is so low on clothes. If you have any unused gently used clothing that you could donate, the Clothing Center would be forever grateful and be able to help the Citizens of our Community! Thank You for your consideration.

Ok, the notices in the windows is nothing important! There’s NO opening date listed on anything but, Hubby stopped by there and talked to a worker that was working inside. Hubby was told that the place would open around the end of the month. On a different note, the New Wendy’s (near Chic-Fil-A) will open tomorrow!

Will do, Sir.

Thanks, I really can’t afford that much but, this ring doorbell isn’t doing us much good!! It’s like do I waste $100 (price of the Ring Doorbell) or do I spend $200 on the Google WiFi System and hope it works. I forgot to mention that we have the worst luck at electronics!! I can’t even get my printer to print because of the WiFi not picking up the printer.

Soo Sad!

Because people keep bringing up old topics and posting in them. I don’t understand why, either. I just wish old topics could be “locked!” I had complained about this years ago.

We took the donations to Helping Hands today, boy was I wrong on the poundage of the canned & boxed goods. The total was 118 lbs. I underestimated that, by a lot. Sorry, Folks. That was an awesome haul, to say the least!! Thank You to the Paulding County Republican Party Members and Guests!!! Showing the love, is what it’s all about.

Ours is just in the next room. There's no metal in between and when someone comes to the door or even gets out of their vehicle and walks up to the door, the ring only gets the person pressing the doorbell or walking away. It's still a very poor signal and you can't carry on a conversation with the person at the door. The speaker goes in & out and it's just NOT working out for us.

Today the Paulding Republican Party had a meeting and they were so kind to hold a Food Drive for Helping Hands. They collected quite a bit of canned & boxed foods and the generous folks donated over $200 in monetary donations. This money can purchase food from the Atlanta Community Food Bank for about $.16 a lb. That's 3,280 lbs of food. That's A LOT OF FOOD!!!!! Helping Hands couldn't do this without the help of this Great Community. Thank You to everyone who contributed and came out to the meeting, on this dreary day. THANK YOU to Pcom as well. This is a great thing you all are doing

The Clothing Center is open Tuesday thru Thursday 10:00 to 1:30, for donations. It’s located at 240 Professional Ct, Behind the Brookwood Daycares playground, in a double wide mobile home.

Our clothing closet is in need of clothes, most especially Winter or warm clothes of any kind. From Baby clothes, kids clothes even adult clothing is needed. If you have any clothing you’d like to donate and would like me to pickup, just let me know. We’re in the South Paulding/New Ga area. I can get you a tax receipt, I’d just need a name & address for it.

Been here 8 years need suggestions please
Mrs G replied to Northerndancer43's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I see Dr. Mehrdad Saadat at Tulman Eye Group in Lithia Springs and he suggested Cataract Surgery for me also, in the future. I’m thinking of checking into this as well. I got new glasses in July (maybe) and they’re just not right. I still can’t read small/fine print. So, I may try to research Laser Surgery before a couple of years. -
Any updates on this young lady?
