I'd love to move to Carroll Co on about 5 acres. Hubby ain't moving anywhere unless we hit the lottery!! I know the Insurance rates are higher in Carroll Co than they are in Paulding. But, I'd be GLAD to pay the higher rates!!! I love the country and Paulding ain't country, anymore!! Heck, it's not even the laid back town that it was when we moved here in 1997.

As much as this issue has been on the news, you'd think that everyone would know, at least a little bit about the rules/laws regarding Service Dogs. That young lady should never have been turned away and this issue needs to be addressed thru the labor board. You know all of those "work place" posters from the labor board??? They need those with the rules/regulations/laws on Service Dogs posted in every place of business. All Employers and Management "should" train their employees on the rules/regulations/laws, whichever the appropriate word is. A young woman was turned away from a restaur

I'd call the Manager at Sams and I think there is a number on the gas pump as well. Maybe to the State Agriculture Dept??? Not positive but, that's my guess. Thanks for the warning!!

I noted in post # 5, thta it was the $1 a scoop place, Asian Express. To me it very well could be a clump of the "egg" but, maybe from an old pot. Maybe they just mixd it in and didn't realize that it had turned green. It's NASTY, either way. We used to eat there quite often, we just got tired of it, really.

They did say it rolled/flipped a couple of times. Buchannan (sp?) was the last name, they didn't say the age of the lady, that I recall. Her first name started with a G.

This is the $1 a scoop place behind Chic-Fil-A. It's been a while since we've eaten there. I love Chinese but, we won't be going back!! It reminds me of green eggs. You know when you go to a cafeteria and the eggs set in those aluminum pans too long and they turn green................. that's what it reminds me of. But, it ALSO, looks like moldy green slime. Yes, my Brother died due to not wearing his seat belt. This was before the seat belt law went into affect/effect. (right word??) He was 22 at the time. I used to say, I'd never let anyone tell me that I "HAD" to wear my seat belt but, that totally changed my attitude!! I wear it and I try not to go over the speed limits, if I do, it's not more than 5 miles over, for sure!!!

If they need school supplies, please let me know. I have some leftover from our backpack give-away.

Yes, we are about 1.5 miles from the new fire station. Station 5 (I think it's # 5) on Ridge Rd is only 4 .5 miles, also.

Although, it's really Mystery Meat just as Vienna Sausages, Potted Meat, HOt Dogs and Spam, it's still pretty darn good!!!! McD's FF are mmmm goood!! They are the best FF in the Fast Food Industry, jmho&2cw!! The BBQ Sandwices (frozen) at Sam's Club (similar to the McRib) are not good either.

New Ga will be getting a Fire Station, Station # 14 is being built just past New Ga Elem Sch. on Mulberry Rock Rd. Wooo Hoooo! It's only 1 bay but, we'll take it!! It'd be better than nothing!!!
