  1. We ate lunch there again today. If you dine in, you get your lunch entree w/fried rice, soup, crab rangoon and an egg roll. But, If you carry out you do NOT get any soup. I have to have my egg drop soup so, there won't be any take out orders for me!!!
  2. Do you know how much the EMT's & Paramedics are paid????
  3. They seem to have a big turnover in the Communications Dept. I know I could NOT do it!!! God Bless the ones who can!!

Richard's on Old Hwy 278, (I think it's Austell-Powder Springs Rd) they are real reasonable. In Austell (I forgot to tell that part, ooops)
  5. It's community property!! The judge will have to settle that!
  6. Doesn't Georgia take into consideration the "Custodial Parent's" income, now-a-days??? This alone, "could" lower your child support. But, it'syour choice. Consulting an Attorney, is the best way to find out, though! Good Luck
  7. To me, that's a form of price gouging!! I saw a 24 pk of cokes at Wallyworld last week for 5.48 and if you divide that by 24, it's .23 a can. Now, don't try to tell me that's NOT price gouging?? Come on, we are having a hard time, boiling water to wash AND rinse dishes because we still have to eat. I know the restaurants have to boil the water also but, we ALL are being inconvenienced (?) so why must we be taken advantage of???? We ate out tonight also and at the place we ate, didn't tell us when we ordered that the can cokes would be $1 each. I did ask, after 2 sips from my Coke! It's a
  8. I didn't see but, two people who mentioned anything about the "genarics," what's wrong, pcommers??? I only thought it was NOT ok, to mention anything about other pcommers spelling and grammer, signs are a different story, right????
  9. I just spoke to a friend of MamaToTo about 30 min ago (sp?) and her husband is NOT in critical condition now but, will have to stay in the hospital, a few more days. Thats all I am going to say, I do not know all the details so, I'll leave it at that!!! They will still need our support, prayers and well wishes as they have had it rough for a couple of months.
  10. Someone reported it on pcom the other day, If I am not mistaken..........
  11. Pubby, I can't find the gray bar, you are speaking of.
  12. I must have turned off the "jinx", I can see it now!!! eta: I can ONLY see the one by "HisBride" not the one Pubby has pinned.
  13. Paulding Relief Forum on pcom, on my computer but, hubby can on his computer??? Is it password protected?
  14. Your best bet would be to check in the morning. Things change overnight. Welcome to Pcom!!!!!
  15. 1Novella........The way you are telling her to go is over 1/2 way in low lying areas. Be careful!! I'd go down 61 to Punkintown Rd/Mirror Lake Rd to I-20 to Chappel Hill Rd go left off the exit ramp then bear right onto Hospital Dr. If Punkintown Rd is closed..............go all the way down 61 to I-20, then onto Chappel Hill Rd. I don't think I-20 is closed from 61 to Chappel Hill Rd but, then again......I am NOT out and about and do not know how the roads are looking. just be careful and DO NOT GO OVER ANY ROAD COVERED IN WATER!!!
  16. It's times like this, when people need to realize that we "NEED" to support this site. What would we have done without this site, these 2 days???? It's only .05 a day for the $19.99 subscription. I think after the pcom coverage of this storm, people just may give in and give their support to this site, seeing how much it was a benefit to the community!!
  17. Now the area of the Sweetwater Creek and I-20 is closed, it's between the weigh station and Thornton Rd, I do believe.
  18. This is the school on the road that use to have 3 different names, it starts out as Mulberry St, by the Austell Police Dept, after the school it turns into Perkerson Mill Rd and then down by the creek, it turns into Old Marietta Rd. This creek has been flooding for years, there is no way they could NOT have known something like this was a possibity. They should have closed the schools to begin with, even over at Clarkdale Ele, it always floods out old Hwy 278, too!!! People just kill me....................
  19. I'm not sure about any rental issues but, I don't think there is any compensation for being out of work due to an emergency situation, unless your employer has something like a paid personal das.
  20. That probably means that the ones who were hit real hard, or with losses can get Federal Help. Low interest loans and so on.
  21. all you have to do is send them to photobucket.com, once it loads copy the "img" code, make sure you get the entire link and the 2 brackets...[img??////????? ] something like that. then open your page to reply and then "paste" the img code into your post.
  22. Sketti is reddi.....................here we come!!!!!!!!!!!! We live close by so, this was not an issue for us. But, everyone does need to stay safe and sound.
