An hour away from the day of the greatest invasion in history.
rbpls replied to cookies are sweet's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It was actually a war where good fought against evil. We weren't perfect but the world had to get rid of Hitler. It's a damned good thing D-Day succeeded. We would have won eventually but what kind of influence would the Soviets have had if we hadn't succeeded on D-Day? Lots more probably. That would have been very bad us and for the world in general. War is hell but sometimes justified. WW2 definitely was. -
A Lot Of People Don't Know This, But I Am A Conservative

You do have a purty mouth... -
The same reason Ruth's Chris Steakhouse sells less beef than McDonalds. FOX habitually lies and propagandizes all the time. It was founded to be the propaganda outlet for the Republican Party. Other outlets have bias of course. FOX lies and has even gone to court in Florida to sue for their Right to LIE.

Do you actually know of child abuse? Other than visiting friends or relatives?

Might be a Corn Snake. I have that initial start (that most people do) when I see nearly any snake. Rationally though, you should leave even poisonous snakes alone. Killing snakes is like saying "I really want me some rat turds in my food." But, if it's a poisonous snake in an area where babies play, it might have a bad day if I run into it. One time, I let a Copperhead go that was crawling through some horse hay I pushed my hands into every night. The night after I let that snake go his merry way, I was pushing my hands into that same loose hay and seriously thought Mr. Copperhe

Yours, mine, our American system of jurisprudence screwed him out of his title, license to work, and 4 of his peak earning years. Ali won in the end....since the Supreme Court overturned his conviction.

Religious zealotry from "Christians" or "Muslims" is stupid and is not good Christian or Muslim behavior. Remember when "Christian" leaders said 911 was punishment from GAWD for depravity in our society? Also, Katrina et al? Idiots and Con artists say stupid crap to impress the gullible all the time. And, sometimes just for effect....like "pro" wrestlers. Ali had been wronged by our system but still....

I need clarification on the Republican stance on an issue

BTW, Saint Ronald the Reagan did the same bowing that President Blackenstein has done with foreign leaders. Some peoples bow, some shake hands, some kiss, etc. Bush (both of them) also did it....and Eisenhower...and Kennedy...and.... Maybe they just were respectful and and understood protocols. -

Gas prices go up and down. They reached over $4 a gallon under Bush. Are they $8 now or is this commodity pricing thing really the cause under both administrations? -

There is no honest informed person on this subject who does not know that government employment has shrunk considerably while Obama has been in office. Do you really not know that what you are saying is obviously not true? -

If you check out every monthly jobs report for the last several years you WILL know that a lot of the reports had many more jobs created in the private sector than the overall numbers for those many months due to..... wait for it... negative growth in public sector or government jobs. Many months. Sure... just as much as you are. -

The "drivel" is believing that the drop in government employment in the latter months of 2010 (which happened and makes your posts pretty much all wrong) had anything to do with the Tea Party and not the Census winding down. You are as Marxist as our President is... in other words, you ain't and neither is he. You are repeating popular mythology. -

Seriously doubt that percentage of new jobs being government jobs. Most reports over the last years have the total new jobs being smaller because of public sector NEGATIVE jobs growth. It just doesn't pass the smell test. Source? -
Old farts rule. Actually, we are old enough to know better but still young enough to do it anyway.

Wrong. I was 26 years old in 1980 and accurately predicting (joining GHW Bush accurately predicting it too btw) that if Reaganomics were implemented as fiscal policy, our fiscal situation would go to hell in a hand basket. Actually, I said it before GHW Bush called Reaganomics "voo-doo economics." History proved he and I were both right. We also studied military spending patterns in the many Political Science classes I completed and how the myth is perpetuated that Republicans don't cut military spending after wars end. Yes, the myth. There were both seriously large cuts and increases

Historically and consistently, our military is downsized after wars wind down and end. Can you name any logical reason it shouldn't? Presidential political party does not change that. Typically, we follow a research then procurement then cut back, research then procurement, etc. Someone referenced the Carter years. It followed the Viet Nam war and a legitimate cutback period that BEGAN UNDER NIXON. There was a period of research and development (remember when stealth technology emerged under Carter?) then procurement. Procurement had begun ramping up significantly during the

I've had good results with Priest Auto with both work vehicles and personal vehicles. I have been using them for years. They've been good to me considering results and fees.

In the real world in the US, you don't get healthcare if you don't have health insurance. Often, you get substandard or no care even if you do have insurance. You intentionally miss the real point. If you don't have health insurance in this "love of money" US system, you essentially don't get healthcare. Millions of Americans have died as a result. Call it a working definition.

You don't know what you are talking about. Others derisively named it Obamacare. Being much smarter than the idiots that tried to insult him, President Obama accepted the moniker. It's sort of like they called him a momma's boy or sissy and he just replied "yep, I'm the sissy that just kicked your ass." Romneycare and Obamacare are essentially the same. They were both forced on us by Republican intransigence and willingness to screw this country by heading off single-payer with something only slightly better than what we had before. The goal is to screw the American people out a few trilli

Informed, intelligent, compassionate post. Someone with brains and the compassion that Jesus taught. You are going to be chastised severely I'm afraid. Excellent, excellent post.
-
I never mentioned Bush. I noticed you have no truthful reply to the reality that "Obamacare" existed in a state with a Republican governor (and ONLY because the Republican governor would never sign a fiscally more efficient single-payer system into law) before any of us had even heard of Barack Obama. If we had what Democrats would have done without the attempt at bipartisanship with the two-faced Republicans liar scumbags, we would have something more fiscally sound that would provide less expensive pretty universal coverage. If you want to hear extreme hysterics, just try to get Republic

If you love what the Republicans designed for Romneycare and Obamacare and Heritage Foundationcare, just keep voting for the Republicans. The ACA is what could be be pushed on the Democrats so we could get a minor step for reform. It is astounding that the fact that Obamacare is what Republicans forced on the Democrats and so many voters are completely unaware of the facts. They made dupes of Republican voters by designing this deal which is way too friendly to insurance companies, then voting against it as if they were not the main architects of this fiscally wrongheaded plan, then blame

Feelip, if anyone bit you anywhere, they'd get a big mouthful of ASS. But seriously, take your best shot at disproving what I said. If you stay with the truth, you will fail.

Do you seriously believe that insurance companies won't make money under Romney/Obamacare?
