  1. That was my question as well. I have often said that I would support his campaign for President. For those that missed his statement tonight, the video is below.
  2. I think your husband is thinking about a DME (designated mechanic examiner) not an IA. There are way more than 4 IA's in ATL.
  3. I don't understand what took so long.
  4. Thank you for doing that. Even though they have their own day, I feel that they are often forgotten. I think that was an excellent thing to do. Our students need this type of exposure to make them appreciate those that served. I would also hope that some of them were moved to consider joining the military. Thank you sir for your service to our country.
  5. I plan to do this with my daughter. Right now we are working on driving in an abandoned parking lot without hitting anything.
  6. Does anyone other than government employees get off for Veterans Day?
  7. Those would scare cows and make them stop giving milk.
  8. I think you should change your title to "pull my finger".
  9. I have had 5000 post to think of something and I got nuttin.
  10. I'm sure the info is out there, but the only thing I could find after a brief search was recent update info: http://www.microsoft.com/security/updates/bulletins/default.aspx
  11. Hackers look for any way they can to infect your computer and they will use any site they can to inject the malicious code. On another note, I wanted to post the link to the FF page that explains the recent exploits discovered. You will notice that some of them were reported by the FF "community". http://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox35.html
  12. I think people originally switched to FF for several reasons with one of the reasons being security. Another reason would be the add-on features. IE has improved greatly in regards to security assuming you are using IE8 and I would venture to say that it probably as secure as FF. However, I still trust FF more because it is open source. At first glance at the graph it would appear that IE8 is safer. But remember the graph does not show actual attacks, only the number of vulnerabilities that were discovered. Most of the vulnerabilities with FF never turned into actual hacking events due to the
  13. I just skimmed the report from Cenzic paying special attention to the information about browsers. Since they did not mention how this data was derived, it is logical to assume that the vulnerabilities numbers listed are based on the vulnerabilities discovered. Assuming this is true, we need to think about how vulnerabilities are discovered. One possibility is that computers become compromised and the other is that someone discovers the vulnerability in the code before an actual attack. There are two types of code: Open source (Firefox) and closed source (Internet Explorer). Open source means t
  14. I'm not sure how much we have had here, but it is enough that my basement is now flooding.
  15. Windows 7 is similar to Vista. The biggest difference is that it actually works. If you are proficient with Vista, you should not have any problems with 7. The upgrade should go very smooth, but there is always a possibility of complications. The most important thin is to back up all of your data (pics, music etc.) to an external device (thumb drive, hard drive, etc) in case something goes wrong. Let me know if you have other questions.
  16. When I read the headline, I was all for it. However, it also effects mental health facilities and I think the mental health experts in the quote below may have a valid point. More here.
  17. Ditto for me. Plus I have the added benefit of offering my services to members. It is also the first place that I turn to when something out of the norm is happening. (Wrecks, floods, etc..)
  18. Yep. Just follow the directions to mix the milk and use like normal milk. I think that I did mix up some in advance and store it in the fridge.
  19. To me it just tastes gross. I think it is fine for cooking.
  20. Amen. At least maybe this will bring at little bit of closure for them.
