  1. Of course not new taxes, fiscal cliff, economic downturn.... If it gets us to the utopia you imagined then its all good. I just keep sipping the kool aid.
  2. http://www.accessnorthga.com/detail.php?n=256458 Starting New Year's Day, sales taxes will increase by a penny on the dollar in 46 Georgia counties that chose to implement them to pay for $1.8 billion in local transportation projects over the next decade. i thought you might be getting tired of cat pictures.
  3. Its all true. I am living proof. Do you think the Government can help me?

  5. Fear not, Obamacare will provide a solution. At least that's what I hear...
  6. You are so right. With the massive assault rifle sales and the holidays the economy is looking up. but not for long... I also used CNBC as a source and not NPR as well NPR is not that reliable. First off http://www.cnbc.com/id/100338999 Obamacare Tax Hikes May Just Be Getting Started http://www.cnbc.com/id/100338227 Market's Solid Year Could Soon Fall Off a 'Cliff' http://www.cnbc.com/id/100338376 Obama Is Haunted By Ghosts of Budget Crises Past Have a Happy New aYear
  7. I think the tornado watch was just a ploy for ratings.
  8. That was a fun romp. The plan for the post was to illustrate that it doesn't matter whether its a big screen TV, a vehicle or an assault rifle. In the wrong hands they can all be deadly. I am confident you understand perfectly well what the post is about and you can walk off and scream "bullocks" or what ever term makes you fell better. None of this will interfere with the plans for world domination. Go back to your regularly scheduled Christmas and have a Happy New Year.
  9. http://www.accessnorthga.com/detail.php?n=256451 GAINESVILLE - A new report released from Safe Kids Worldwide and SANUS reveals that every three weeks, a child dies in the U.S. from a television tipping over and nearly 13,000 more children are injured each year. This represents a 31 percent increase in TV tip-over related injuries over the last ten years. The results of the report, "A Report to the Nation on Home Safety: The Dangers of TV Tip-Overs," include data from the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and new findings from Safe Kids Worldwide primary research. 10. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2012/12/21/Flashback-Clinton-Cops-in-Schools In their zeal to rampage this left-wing agenda, the media has apparently forgotten that back in 2000, on the one-year anniversary of the Columbine shooting (which occurred with an assault weapons ban in place), President Clinton requested $60 million in federal money to fund a fifth round of funding for a program called "COPS in School," a program that does exactly what the NRA is proposing and the media is currently in overdrive mocking:
  11. 1 gallon of Apple Juice 1/2 gallon of Apple cider 1 1/3 cup of sugar 6 cinnamon sticks 1/2 liter of Everclear Not recommended to add any more than 1/2 liter Bring everything but alcohol to a boil. Allow to cool, Add Everclear Serve hot or cold Enjoy
  12. To be perfectly honest I don't think the NRA is conservative enough when it come to the second amendment. I have participated with some Georgia groups that applied pressure to local politicians to get things done. More of a tea party approach.
  13. What was Thomas Jefferson opinion on guns?
  14. I would like to cite the fact that the Alabama Pension records were online but their link stopped working and the sources point to Ancestry.com http://www.cowhampshireblog.com/2007/8/28/ http://ancestrallychallenged.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=875
  15. I have a rant about Ancestry.com and Fold3.com. First is Georgia has free access to Genealogy records, pension records and the like. Alabama used to have free access but the link is down and you can only access through Ancestry.com. Bottom line is all these records are public property and should be free to access. If they want to close the Archives fine. Just at least scan the records and put them online available to everyone. These website charge outrageous prices for information that should be free for all. All states should do this. Its kinda like the Peach Pass on 1-85. We paid for the
