I'd never heard of them either. I don't like pepper hot at all but these had just the right balance of hot and sweet. Hun, I'm telling you, they were delicious on that burger. I must find a good way to make them. Harvest Moon is great. Really good food. The red headed burger is the one I ordered. It was so good, husband wanted one too. Go to the Harvest Moon. Bet you will enjoy it. Oh, almost forgot....next door there is this bakery. Honey Moon Bakery, if I'm lying, I'm dieing, it is a real deal bakery. Get the cream horns. OMG. I do mean OMG!

Went to Rome this weekend, had a burger at Harvest Moon. On this burger were these miraculous little pieces of delight called Candied Jalapeños. Found out, it's an old southern thing. Anyone have a tried and true way to make them? TIA

I have no choice....my critters would give me no peace if I tried to leave them outside. It would either be a cat knocking on the kitchen (no joke) window, another cat pawing the glass door, a dog barking, two dogs backing, three dogs barking. One is sacked out under the coffee table, another one is lying in front of the fire and Ralphie is standing guard at the the front door. One cat is on the bed and the other is in his condo. No way I would even think of leaving one of my friends out.....after all, they are my friends.
