Cade's Cove I've been to. We used to trail ride and spend weekends up there. Yup. The trolley stops right at the front of the RV park we will be staying in so that works out perfect!

That's an idea. Think the boys would have an issue with that?

Yup! That pretty much the whole point of the trip. Well, besides that the summer, in Queens, with nothing to do, pretty much stinks. LOL It's difficult to keep family close when you're so far away.

I'll tell you what, I've had a serious blast just planning this trip. I've heard it's a tourist area in a large way! Just wanted to ask folks opinion about anything that is just not to be missed so I can narrow down the possibilities. I also read that Gatlinberg is a tourists Mecca as well. Thanks for the tips GD.

Thanks, we will absolutely hit Splash County too! I agree with the season pass thing. I just don't want the three of us, in the trailer, staring at one another, with nothing to do. LOL

OK, it's official, I've lost my marbles! Two of my grand nephews are coming to visit me for three weeks! They are ages 6 and 8 and because they live in NY and I live here, we barely know one another. I thought we would load up the trailer and head to Dollywood for a week. It should be fun. My problem is I've never been to that area so I was wondering if you folks have any ideas as to neat things to do with two young boys in tow. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

What I hear is stuff about........he was the nicest guy in the world, guess he snapped....and gunned down 5 people. That scenario comes up drugs plus armor equals crazy. Just the slightest bit of crazy, which pretty much all of us are, combined with drugs, and your reality has changed. I guess that's when you lose your mind. Holy Crap!

Perscription drugs which are prescribed at an alarming rate. Seems like once the drug companies were able to advertise, the crazy thing got worse. I may be totally off base but people are given drugs like it was candy. i.e. Got a skin tag removed.....got 30 day dose of pain killer. 30 days! Really. I'm just glad that stuff makes me puke.
