Common Areas? It's just the front entrance...there are people here that do help when seasons change to spruce up the front entrance area....
-
Yes, they did try to "start" a HOA, however, not all resident's wanted to participate. They needed 100% participation....the sign is up again and it now states Sunday. We drove through the neighborhood yesterday to look at the decorations....
-
There is no HOA for this subdivision. I noticed the sign this morning too and was going to take a picture...didn't though. Someone put some time and effort in painting that sign though.

I do have values, thank you. I did go trick or treating, however, not on a Sunday, back then. We did stay home on Sunday's we would go to church, come home, eat a big lunch with all of the family and cousins and then we'd go back to church in the evening.

Well, things have changed over the years and people don't have the same values or traditions. Such as, when I was younger, trick or treat age, my parent's would not allow us to trick or treat on a Sunday. Sunday is the Lords day. I wasn't allowed to work on a Sunday either. So, I believe it is a matter of choice for each individual person. If we have trick or treater's on Saturday we'll hand out candy. So, if a subdivision is advertising a specific night for trick or treating in their neighborhood it just makes it easier for others to plan the route.

Denise and Phillip, I'm praying for you both!

You are the parent. As a parent we have responsibilities to our family and employer. Giving her a heads up and following through with it each time from here forward she will definitely get the message: When I say it's time to go...it's time to go!

I concur with naturegirl...There is such a fountain in Suwanee and it is a favorite for families. The kids can enjoy the water and get wet while having fun.
