  1. I think the solution will be to move.
  2. And just so I am still following rules of engagement - do we still blame Bush for stuff or is that now fully Trump and we can retire Bush? All things good, like the current economy, we sing praises for Obama?
  3. I think they wern't correct because of the aggressive Obama policies that saved humanity.
  4. The idea of the reservoir was hatched in the 90s. Land purchases, government approvals and all that took 15 years to get to a point of the county asking voters for funding. It was not brought to us by Tony "out of work in December" Crowe as his campaign flier stated.
  5. yeah - the reservoir was hatched back in the 90s. I noticed that on one of Crowe's campaign fliers that hit my mailbox and then hit the trash.
  6. Took Freebird, Jr. and one of his friends for their first voting experience. They wern't impressed. Not sure why they would not have pride in the fact that they did their civic duty and gave some recognition for all those that have fought to give them the right. I've failed as a father somehow.
  7. Spring Community Yard Sale for Senators Ridge and The Capitol will be Saturday, April 28th from 8AM to 2PM.
  8. Over the past few years I've purchased 4 motorcycles posted on craigslist without any issues. There are scams. I have one posted right now and get plenty of scammers calling/texting about it. I wasn't born yesterday.
  9. If you are on the cartersville yardsale facebook page there was a decent looking 2003 PT Cruiser, 150,000 miles for $1800. also another PT Cruiser for $800 but it is in Crandall, GA.
  10. I always figured "The Postman" was really the freedom fighter bandit.
  11. It might help to know the general area you live in. There are several different service options in the county but not all of them serve the entire county.
  12. Is education for entertainment or preparing kids for the real world?
  13. Kind of sad that new coaching hires are celebrated like this. Can't recall ever seeing an announcement of a new math teacher being brought in and how well of a job they did based on past student testing scores.
  14. I think your logic and investigation is correct. In your example I wonder if the additional federal standard exemption (and corresponding higher tax bracket) offsets the up to 6% (lower taxed rate) you might pay on the state portion. Anyway, taxes are something that the rich pay and its time they "pay their fair share" right?
  15. Anything would be better than the hope without any change in your pocket plan we just got through with.
  16. Here is a good deal, but refresh rate is only 60hz so watching sports would not be at its best - $279 for 55 in. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/toshiba-55-class-54-6-diag--led-2160p-with-chromecast-built-in-4k-ultra-hd-tv/5733203.p?skuId=5733203
  17. 4k and "smart" features are pretty much standard these days. Just helped my mother-in-law get one last month. Get minimum of 120hz (240hz better) refresh rate. I think there are only 2 panel suppliers - Samsung or LG - for all the different brands. Costco has good pricing as well as 2 year warranties. Buy with a premium credit card for 1-2 year additional warranty on top of what comes from the manufacturer. Personally I like Vizio. I have several Vizio units in the house but my main unit is 55 in. Panasonic. My M-I-L ended up with a LG model from Costco. It is very nice and has great
  18. I wonder how Delta and its attorneys will fare against the federal government trying to stop this proposed service?
  19. The loan document states what the bank is entitled to: first lien position on all A/R, inventory, equipment, rents and leases used or useful in the EPHS Football Booster Club. Give them all the money in the booster account, inventory, and equipment and send them on their way. They can rent out the signage on the building if they want to. They made a poor loan and living with consequences of a bad loan is part of business. The lawsuit is just trying to go after the party with deep pockets (the taxpayer via the school district) to see if they will try to buy their way out of the issue. Wh
  20. If the taxpayer gets stuck with the payment then the property holders in the in the EPHS district should have additional levies placed against them since those students see the benefits of the building. But, the loan document states what the bank is entitled to - give them some helmets, weight lifting equipment, sign rentals on the building, etc. and send them on their way.
  21. The bank made a bad loan - they should now collect on their collateral.
