I think after automakers face the multitude of lawsuits that result from accidents involving self driving cars.. they'll abandon the concept.

Rising seas due to melting polar ice is maybe the dumbest flat earth type science I've heard yet. Polar ice is already 90% underwater (whether as an iceberg or in sheet form) and that displacement equals the volume of liquid that would be added if it melted. That's why you can let the ice melt in your sweet tea... with zero risk of flooding your kitchen. Are our seas rising? Absolutely. Gravity is at work daily trying it's best to tear down high mountains and fill in low places. Like the oceans. Millions of yards of earth are deposited in our oceans daily by rivers. Think river Delta. T

Wait. So terrorists can kill large numbers of victims using something besides guns? Yet one armed and determined patron could have prevented this tragedy.

Customer with concealed carry permit fatally shoots
bluegrass replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The solution to security is determined and well armed citizens. In violent encounters seconds count. If you don't defend yourself, the police will show up in time to draw a chalk outline around your body, and interview witnesses to get a description of the perpetrator. It's mind boggling to me that anyone would support gun control measures. Good on this guy for stopping this crime. I hope he gets a medal. -
Not sure if they cover your area but check with Paulding Waste. Great great service. Good folks.

But it's the religion of peace! They're just misunderstood. Mischievous. We should give them a hug. I think I've heard the term JV used to describe them.. Nothing to see here folks. The real enemy is the Confederate flag and that pesky 2nd amendment..

Can we have a totally separate category for...
bluegrass replied to marvinthemartian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The forum is way too big considering how little traffic there is these days. It could be reduced to three categories: General Discussion. Obituaries. And Want Ads for sales and employment etc. It would be much simpler to navigate, and all three areas would be fairly active. -
Shooting of Jenna Wall by her MIL raises questions/issues

I agree. I'll remove my contributions. I just couldn't stand by and watch the owner of this forum turn this into propaganda, but i stand corrected. It's disrespectful. -

Sorry for the lady, and her children. -
Screw political correct. One of the reasons we declared independence was because we wanted to enjoy free speech. The butt hurt multitudes have found ways to shut down free speech anyway, and I'm hoping and praying it's a freedom we can embrace again some day.

The guy called during the act, and pledged allegiance to ISIS. Then some shadowy character comes forward and we're steered away from the truth. Any story line that furthers the political agenda of disarming Americans becomes headline news. Not buying it.

The truth might inspire the people to elect leaders dedicated to the security and prosperity of America. That would halt our rapid decline into globalism and socialism. Heaven forbid we put America first.

Rolling Stone: Why It's Time to Repeal the Second Amendment

It's true it wasn't written by the gods (small g no '), but they did know their (not there or they're) grammar. Carry on ~ -
Rolling Stone: Why It's Time to Repeal the Second Amendment

They're not inept. They're crippled by political correctness. If the guy had been wearing a Trump shirt and driving a pickup truck they would've surrounded his house within hours. -
Rolling Stone: Why It's Time to Repeal the Second Amendment
bluegrass replied to Jamie Weaver's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Repealing the 2nd amendment would remove one of the most important components of the check/balance system that protects us from tyranny. You know. That thing that inspired the founding fathers to write the Declaration. Imagine if we had turned our arms into King George. Power invariably corrupts. The founding fathers understood this. That's why we have a Constitution. And subsequent amendments. -
Tail of the Dragon Hwy 129 (Deal's Gap)
bluegrass replied to Coppertop's Pop's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I've ridden it several times and it's fun. Whats not fun is some of the idiots who ride above their skill level. They can't stay on their side of the yellow line. I agree with others above that the Cherohala is the cool one. Literally. The elevations get so high it's like air conditioning even in July. -

they'll be up there a long long time then -
Yay I'm glad to see that. I'll probably still go to Cedartown though because there will be zero wait. Most of the people in line there before were from Paulding.

I totally agree. We are the solution to acts of terror. Children are taught in school to not defend themselves. To leave it to the administration to handle the problem. And increasingly adults behave just that way. Government should encourage citizens to protect themselves. Instead we're seeing the opposite. People behaving like frightened sheep, and elements of government that want to disarm law abiding citizens. SMDH

You Can Stand With Islam, And You Can Stand With LGBT.
bluegrass replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You can support both. In an Orwellian society where good citizens believe the unbelievable. Hillary has figured it out though. She's crunched the numbers and knows she can't afford to lose the LGBT vote. She's added some terminology to her language. http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/13/politics/hillary-clinton-donald-trump-orlando-attacks-reaction/index.html -

Someone on Twitter just said it best: @hillaryclinton you can stand with Islam, or you can stand with the LGBT community, but you can't stand with both.
