I worked with 2yos in a daycare for 2 years and parents would tell us they gave little Johnny some Tylenol before school bc he was running a fever. Guess what? When the Tylenol wore off and little Johnny's fever came back, we sent him home, bc policy states that when their fever is 101 or higher, they go home for 24 hours and need a dr's note to return. Too bad you still miss a day and a half of work. I've had parents drop their kids off with ear infections that were so bad their kid couldn't walk straight. HELLLLOOOO! I know! I'm trying to talk my SIL to come with us and take care of the baby while we're in meetings/trainings (I plan on bringing hubby). I absolutely REFUSE to put up Christmas decorations until AFTER Thanksgiving!!!! Now that we're past Little A's birthday (well, not really....it's this coming Sunday, but we already did the party thing), we will start shopping for her Christmas gifts. We pick up things here and there so we don't end up going overboard all at the same time. Not using credit cards = GOOD Christmas!
