About three months ago the president held a news conference and said all the troops would return from Afganistan. I remember this speech because most of the students in my sons class did a report on it to get extra credit.

Do not throw stones at me, or bulletts.....but I have a question. A few months ago we were told all of our soldiers would be home by August. The news just showed more are leaving today for a year. SO, what has changed between that news conference and today?

I know a lawyer who will be more than happy to take on this case. NO ONE can forbid you from praying at any time in any place....YOU just can not force someone to pray. We have the RIGHT to pray.

All great ideas. Have teenage students mow the lawns to earn extra credits.....cuts down on paying someone else and teaches responsobility. Have the male staff take a more protective role in policing the schools. On any given day there are 2 or 3 officers monitoring Herschel. 4 day school weeks. On-line books...........as of now my son does not even have books in most of his classes, they were purchased but unused because they do not meet the standards. More PE and less athletics. Fundraisers that more people would participate in.....I am tired of the wrapper/candy/coke sales.

Probably due to so many people reading that post. OR.......maybe it is a conspiracy of political proportions.

TROUBLE................ That is what the children in this county are in with our education system. In case you haven't been reading the other topics..........there is NO money for the school system. BUT, our county has a Beautiful New Courthouse, and an AWESOME (yet useless) airport. I hope there are jobs available at those two facilities for my son because this county is in TROUBLE.

I understand that. I am saying it is a trickle down effect. We are spending tooooooo much money to see where we need to spend the money. Crazy and poor management all the way around. It is like going from Paulding to Panama City because the gas there is cheaper and we can save money by buying it there. The common sense is gone.
