I did some math, and financially, it's not terrible. You end up paying around $100 - $150 per night to stay in a condo - which should mean reduced expense on eating out every meal. One of the things I am looking into is renting other people's timeshares. There seems to be some serious cost savings there. For instance, I found a place in central London for $157/night...that's DOLLARS. You can't get a crappy room at the Holiday Inn for less than £150 or $250.
