  1. My ex graduated from Armstrong. He is the President of a global pharmaceutical company and makes millions of dollars a year. He got a degree in science.
  2. Is anyone watching her answer these questions?!?! This woman is bat sheeze crazy!!! The vividness at which she can recall some things and how little she can remember of others is ASTONISHING!!!!
  3. I hate saying it...but, Mac. Just tear off the band-aide and go full on mac...embrace the future.
  4. HOLY BUTTER!!! This looks delish, but I had a coronary just reading it.
  5. A few reasons. It's not exactly a boom metropolis of employment opportunities Seems like a very strange place for a bunch of Indians to migrate to (again - income?) It's freaking cold Those are just what jumped out at me...people move there for the TM and serenity of an entire town that practices TM. I just thought, this would be way better suited for either the northwest or...Florida.
  6. cool. I should be getting one. My 10 year old is 120lbs!! A total chunk.
  7. leaking water where? From the cup holder? We had a situation where one of the cups leaked and got grounds in the spout which caused the water to leak. A quick clean and we haven't had any other problems.
  8. I'm watching a show by Oprah on a city in Iowa that practices Transcendental Meditation...as a town! This is pretty amazing. MOST of the town stops what they're doing, twice a day, to meditate...and they're really happy folks. There's a vedic city there as well, which is far too much commitment for me...but, I think that this might be worth a retreat! It would certainly be a neat thing to see. http://www.vediccity.net/ http://www.tm.org
  9. This is so tragic, and hits so close to home for me. I saw it on GMA, she seems to be in such great spirits.
  10. My husband bought me a Canon T3 for my push gift. I have done a ton of research on the T3 vs. the T3i, and I think that it's the best decision. Here's why: It's lighter (we travel a lot, and having previously used a 40D, I know how heavy the others can be) The battery life is much longer (which is good because it doesn't take AA) I've compared the picture quality and it seems just fine. As a matter of fact, for someone that doesn't want to get too serious about photography I've heard that the T3 has less "noise". I have no desire to do anything more than take pics of my kiddos. W
  11. My social media is buzzing about Hugo chavez's death. Anyone else?
  12. It's also really good for you - I'm sure that the preservatives and artificial flavors of the box varietal aren't...but, it will have to do for now. It's couscous meets risotto.
  13. We eat it all the time...though I haven't had a chance to do anything with it from scratch.
  14. Yes. He's from GA, and a huge Cars fan...so, the racing community has rallied to his support - called TEAM BOOM. http://www.teamboom4tripp.com/
  15. how did I know you would use this to tell the world about your extensive "5 star dining" experience. Here's a tip - the FINEST restaurant in the WORLD (The Fat Duck) doesn't even accept tips...so take you're haughty wanna-be ass back to Disney - Cinderella has to pay the bills after she's done sprinkling fiery dust on your rubber chicken. As for tipping - watch your servers. You can see if the service is bad because they're covering too many tables or because they're short on runners. If that's the case, I try to go easy on them. But, for the most part, I agree with Blue. Tipping
  16. Another set back Stacy: bill and I are trying to get to the hospital, he just had a ct and there is fluid on his brain they are taking him back for another surgery. Much more invasive one this time. Please pray for my baby.
  17. A photog from the UK sent me a note threatening prosecution for using his chav pics without permission in this thread: http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/297146-want-to-see-what-life-looks-like-without-guns/page__st__40%3Cbr%20/%3E He's informed me that if I don't take them down, he will seek to prosecute me. However, I can't edit the post. Can you help? Let this be a lesson to you folks - don't take pics from the internet.
  18. Actually, there isn't any...unless the horse has been given bute. The US, Canada, etc has long exported horse meat for consumption in Europe - which is quite common, especially in the eastern block and nordic regions. We don't eat it for cultural reasons.
  19. I don't know what circles you hang in...but, race, black, white, whatever...it's not part of my vernacular. Are people seriously still bothering with the whole race thing? How...lowbrow. You do realize that topics/conversations like this only happen in America, right?
  20. Well then, you are his vagina and he is your penis, both of you should desire for these things to be cared for properly if you're going to use them. You wouldn't ask someone you love to eat from a dirty dish, KWIM?
  21. They won't put shanaynay up there...it will be a Halle Barry look-alike. Besides, hasn't BET done a black version of this show already? Love and Hip Hop or some such thing?
  22. Juan needs to tone it down. He's looking like a bulky - and she's getting to him. If he lets her, she will weave her own web.
