  1. OMG. That's TERRIBLE. Gosh, I have seriously good memories made at Blackstock - wipes tear.
  2. I would call the police!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're kidding, right? They are a SERIAL KILLER.
  3. Blackstock is my FAVORITE! Speaking of Frog Town...I MUST post this picture. This is the end of a rainbow, in the frogtown vineyard.
  4. I just want to make sure I understand...you're asking what I would do in the event that I found out my husband was a serial killer?
  5. I think she's pretending to be having tea with the queen right now...
  6. Uh huh Enjoy your excursions in your luxury island in your mind...
  7. A - the MEN! I happen to be a huge fan of some Cali wines, Stags Leap and Cakebread being my two favorites, but they pale in comparison to TABLE WINE that I've had while in Italy. The US certainly doesn't have BAD wine by any means, but I wouldn't be 'importing' it to my 'second home'. I actually prefer to drink the local varietals when abroad - ouzo in Greece, lemoncello in spain and italy, Stella Artois in England (wink!)... You know, former member, I'd love to know how you got these Oregon vineyards to ship internationally? I've always had a hard time getting either California viney
  8. I agree with this...but that's more of a "one night indiscretion" thing - and AFFAIR implies that things either went on for extended periods of time or had an emotional component. To me, it's two different things.
  9. I see where you're coming from...but, I think it depends on the marriage. If it's one of those marriages that's miserable and they're just in it for the kids/money/living situation/etc. and it's eventually going to end in divorce when one of them gets their degree/new job/pays off the car/kids all get in school, then I probably wouldn't give a crap. If I genuinely was in love and thought my husband was working late/traveling for work/going to Fantasy Football, then yes, I would want to know.
  10. Yeah, this is exactly what I thought too. But, I do recognize that abusive men will usually seek out and find weak women (or women at a weak point in their life). NC is correct though - resources are plentiful, but the victim must reach out and accept it. BL loves drama and tragedy and pitiful circumstances and sad situations, there is so much melodrama and hypochondria oozing - continuously - from this poster, I really don't know why you bother NC. I don't know what to do first when I read their posts, take a handful of pills or cut myself.
  11. Just spoke to Bass Pro, none. No idea when they'll have more.
  12. Negative for adventure outdoors, haven't tried bass pro, but I will!
  13. I didn't read it...but, I want to compliment you on your impressive run-on sentence. Mad skillz, yo.
  14. Like bonuses and commissions, never COUNT on tax refunds. I know that a lot of folks use the IRS like a savings account and take refunds and splurge on once a year treats...if you can, try and get out of this habit. You'll be better off in the long run!
  15. Already checked Wild West an all the Walmarts in a 50 mile radius I think! I'll try Gun N Gold. There's a gun show in Marietta this weekend, wonder if they'll have any?
  16. I can't find 9mm ammo ANYWHERE. We've been calling the local haunts for nearly two weeks. Does anyone know of places with ammo for sale (non lane rental?)
  17. Then be content being a janitor and move on. Today is a great day! I certainly hope that you enjoy the extra vibe in the air today!
  18. I have. 10 years ago when it came out. :giggle:
  19. Feel free to mock away, but the most successful people I've had the honor of knowing have been those that are FILLED with positive energy and seek knowledge, and in turn give it back to others. What do you do for a living? What contribution have you made to the world? What will your legacy be? To answer your question, if all you are and all you rely on is a piece of paper to define what you have to offer - you're limiting yourself.
  20. So which evaluation institute should I listen to? Because they all say something different. Further, isn't a Volvo inherently safer than say, a pick up truck? Too many variables.
  21. No - they will be especially powerful. Movers and shakers, if you will.
  22. I'm not even sure it's a money thing, but it IS a marketing thing. hit up any baby store and you will see no less than 100 car seat models ranging in price from $50 to $500. And, most children are hurt in their $500 car seat that's been improperly installed.
  23. This thread makes me want to throw up. The consumerism in children's products is outrageous in this country. We have the highest safety standards in the world - so I'm certain that just about any car seat on the market is going to be more than safe for our precious cargo. I would be sure to check the recall lists to be certain and use your vehicle's LATCH systems if possible. I would also highly recommend installation at your local fire station. Good luck with your choice!
  24. Saturn and Pluto are an exact sextile. The energy is right for a rebirth. This is a great time to sit quietly and listen. The universe will give you the energy needed to make tough choices, and move ahead with shaping up your life. Just thought you might like to know... I am PRAYING for baby C to come - it's definitely a time for POWER and those born tomorrow will be a BIG DEAL.
