  1. Hmm... From the girlfriend and baby's mama of the 21 year old rapper that was paralyzed: She said the family was seeking justice but when asked what form that would take, she replied, "We'll see."
  2. I saw this video over the weekend - pretty nuts. Then I read this: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/10/07/biker-in-nyc-assault-catches-break-from-judge-flips-off-reporters/?intcmp=latestnews Career criminal Reginald Chance, 37, extended both middle fingers as he was hauled into Manhattan Criminal Court on gang-assault and other charges tied to the Sept. 29 beatdown of Alexian Lien Sounds like Mr. Lein ran over the wrong biker...
  3. Hmmm, Cobb doesn't seem to do anything about the houses that have 4 mexican families sharing 3 bedrooms...
  4. ??? CapitOl.... Shots fired, police officers hurt is all I can find online.
  5. We are looking at it for our fall family photos. Anyone been? I haven't, but the fountain looks nice on the interwebs.
  6. It's a *bit* uppity. And...now I want Aspens. I am just a few miles from the Avenues of East Cobb, but I haven't hit it up yet. Hoping for goood things!
  7. Gimme em' here. We have an existing alarm system, prewired into the house. We probably need a new keypad, etc. Who should we use?
  8. Now that I know where East Paulding is...it's normal. Due West and the Avenues are a little more uppity, but they're in Cobb? And now that I'm in Roswell (exactly one mile from the East Cobb line)...yeah, East Cobb is different. I went to the walmart (there's only one and it's hard to find) and it's...um...let's just say yoga pants is really pushing it for dress.
  9. Where is East Paulding? I need landmarks! My visits to Paulding include: NC's old house, a dive biker bar, that chicken wing place by the movies, Bent Water (old boyfriend) and LaCocina. Oh, and the DMV. So, where is East Paulding?
  10. I agree and disagree. There is nothing wrong with integrating your belief system with your business life. It's a huge chunk of your day to day life. It is never, ever good to pimp Jesus for personal/professional gain. http://the315project.com
  11. I'm going to get the new Sedaris book for a laugh. I'm thinking about a good crime/mystery thriller. Hiassian has a new one out, but he's a bit light hearted. Jo Nesbo has a new one out that I'm thinking about grabbing as well. Just thought I'd see if there were any really good reads, regardless of genre, that I should add to the list.
  12. Already read the first two. I didn't know there was a new one out, I'll get it eventually, but it's too heavy for me right now. The Bible needs a little more attention in the house for sure...we've go to get back into daily devotion.
  13. I can't figure out if i love her or think she's a better version of Taylor Swift (whom I loathe). I'm having trouble finding much of her stuff free online - 16, though - impressive.
  14. I had two biopsies yesterday! They were painless - a little annoying for a couple of hours afterwards. We'll see!
  15. The new international terminal. There's a cell phone lot if you don't want to go in. If you do go in, there's only a few places to wait. It's really easy.
  16. I really don't care...it's just entertainment to me. However, I will say that she IS a role model (sadly) to a lot of young girls...and as a society, we should all care (at least a little) when a barely 20 year old dry humps a married man that could be her father on public TV. Just a little warning, so I can make sure the kids aren't in the room is all. And, you're right, there is SO MUCH else going on in the world...but, in 'MURICA we focus on first world problems...or just go and blow sheeze up.
  17. Personally, I think if you choose to drive a motorcycle, you're voluntarily accepting the risks...which is usually death if you're involved in an accident. If that's your idea of a thrilling good time, rock on. I'm risk adverse and fairly logical - a person on a motorcycle doesn't stand a chance against a SMART car, let alone the overwhelming amount of SUVs and trucks in Atlanta. Sorry about your nephew. I hope he recovers soon. And gets a car.
  18. Thanks, all! I have one that i'm concerned about...unfortunately, it "looks" like the bad kind, so I'm hoping that it's ok. Little nervous.
  19. I'm going tomorrow for my first skin cancer check.. anything I should know or be worried about? I grew up in South Florida...surfing. Quite honestly, I should be expecting this, but I'm nervous. It looks like the scary one...
