  1. Oh, shoot no harm no foul. I do the same thing.
  2. I did as much as I could with the free stuff too. I do have the monthly Ancestry membership. To me it is worth it. I have been able to find even more information, as well as connecting with some family members in other states. We have been able to correct misinformation as well.
  3. I guess I did. However depending on the year of the Excursion my point remains. My 98 blazer would have been on of those super expensive models back in 98. I bought it in 04. I thought the fine was $500.00.
  4. Really??? You know their finances? Come on your better then that. DH has a DV tag, I have a placard for the times he is in my SUV. Depends on how he feels that day as to whether it is important that there be a parking space available. I look at those who park in the handicap as the same folks who will do anything as long as they don't get caught.
  5. My sister was much more interested in looking for our biological mother. We had been told all of our lives that she been deceased for quite a while. It was much more important to my sister to find her than me. I'm not really sure what she was expecting when she found our biological mother. If you do find your mother be prepared that not all of your questions will be answered. For us it was bittersweet. On one hand, we were happy to finally meet her. But, on the other hand it wasn't what we expected. My sister, and I wanted things to move much more slowly then our biological mother. Y
  6. Yes, and it is great if you know that is where your search leads you. Not everyone with the same last name is related. Many sources are available for free. Most of them offer limited information, but for full service you are still asked for a "donation." You can do a monthly membership with Ancestry. Seeing as most of the sites send you that way anyways. Yes, I do use Ancestry, and I have about 6 trees going right now.
  7. And, it's really not that expensive.
  8. I do understand what your saying. But, Ancestry does make things so much easier. Especially for those of us that have a ton of folks spread out everywhere.
  9. Call them, they worked with us when we got behind.
  10. My son, and husband often quote Jeff Dunham. “The purse. The purse! The woman’s purse! That is an evil accessory thing that women have that guys just don’t get, we don’t wanna get anywhere freaking near a woman’s purse. We carry everything we need in life in a piece of leather, folded over, as big as a deflated hamburger. My wife would say, ‘Get my keys out of my purse’, and I’ll go, ‘Oh no no no, I ain’t touching that thing! I’ve heard noises coming out of there! It’s evil! I’ve seen you pull farm tools out of that!’ She can turn her purse upside down and shake it, nothing comes o
  11. All that sounds fantastic. I could never use what passes as banana flavored pudding. I always make mine from scratch. I just reread that, and it sounds snotty. So, I changed the last sentence. Sorry.
  12. Oh, heck this whole topic just reinforces yet more reason to home school. Just sayin.
  13. Cute, those bouncies (sp) are awesome. Why didn't they have them when mine were babies?

I know what you mean. I was, and am not part of a clique. Never had any use for them. I won't tell you who's fan club I wanted to be part of. He is still so dang hawt, even now.

Whatever. You haven't the first clue about what group/s I would've hung out with back in the day. You might want to get over yourself. I did not say you did not pull your weight. I did imply that you only do as much, or as little as you must. Just enough to fulfill your volunteer obligation. You were the one that stated that you are only there for your child. Your welcomed, by the way for me fixing your apostrophes. If you don't hang out with the so called cliques, then how do you know what they are talking about? If your not interested in the alleged gossiping/backstabbing then why are

Lucky, I am one of those menopausal women. I still think if you were bitchy, cliquish, etc. when you were younger, you will be that way when your older. I was just trying to clarify with candycane which group of sports parents she was going on about, and she got all defensive, and such. If one tends to be a "loner" then everyone else is going to appear to be cliquish. Girl I don't know. How bout Wed. maybe? Might have to bring along DH, and the man child. PM me. Edited to fix the word loner.

Umm no I'm not. Obviously you don't have the first clue about what your talking about. I guess when your kid got to the middle/high school level you thought your participation stopped. So, that still makes you one of THOSE parents. Bet you stopped staying in touch with the teachers.
