  1. Thanks for reminding me why I have you blocked. You totally missed the point, as usual.
  2. Just because it's Wal-mart. http://thecollegeconservative.com/2011/12/13/my-time-at-walmart-why-we-need-serious-welfare-reform/ During the 2010 and 2011 summers, I was a cashier at Wal-Mart #1788 in Scarborough, Maine. I spent hours upon hours toiling away at a register, scanning, bagging, and dealing with questionable clientele. These were all expected parts of the job, and I was okay with it. What I didn’t expect to be part of my job at Wal-Mart was to witness massive amounts of welfare fraud and abuse. I understand that sometimes, people are destitute. They need help,
  3. Apparently we need someone to tell us how to wipe our butts. According to some people. But, in answer to your question.......................... UM NO Well maybe some do. But, I would say for normal people it's not necessary.
  4. Maybe the real question should be, why can't people be responsible for themselves? Really do we NEED somebody to tell us that texting, talking on a cell phone, putting on makeup, or eating a full meal while driving is a very bad idea.
  5. LOL, or the JM Fields. Good God that's really telling our age. As far as the "invitation" to others. I guess as I have aged I just SMH, and laugh at them when I pass them, because they just had to get to the red light, or they have been pulled over by our friendly SO.
  6. Yeah, actually I do. Knock on wood I've never had an accident that was my fault. Matter of fact the only accidents that I have been in someone else was driving, and once I was t-boned. So, yep I'm a pretty good driver. What bout you? BTW I have been driving for over 30 years.
  7. How close was that bus? To end up like that? At what speed were they going. Not just these two (might be three, not sure if that's a car under there.) but the rest of the traffic?
  8. It's the tunnels, I tell ya. Don't worry Blondie I got a couple dollars to contribute for bail.
  9. 11 car pile up? Sounds like there was an awful lot of tail gating going on to.
  10. First off, Mom needs to be a mom FIRST. That she most certainly isn't doing. Next no way would my 8th grader boy or girl be dating a 17/18 year old. There is too much of a maturity gap. I don't care how mature the girl might appear, she certainly isn't as mature as she would have you think. It does say a lot when we have to specify that all dates at a Jr. High homecoming dance must be middle school age only.
  11. Chili, DH makes it so much better then me.
  12. AMEN!!!! Finally!!!!!
  13. Good grief. Where is the sarcasm slapping hand against head smiley????
  14. Now you guys are just showing how smutty you can be.
  15. OK, still waiting for anything that says he was dating her at any point. I also didn't find her name in relation to Playboy. There's also an Amber Shonts. Still waiting........ Come on now guys, ya gotta do better then that.
  16. Well I'm sure a lot of guys would. But, I haven't found the statement to be true. Still waiting...........
  17. If he were out partying, getting sloppy drunk, and arrested how many of you would be bashing him??? But. wait other sports figures can give the praise to God, point their fingers hevanward, cross themselves, and some of you have no problem with it, kinda of a double standard there. But, then again it's OK for our kids to emulate the Kardasians, that Gaga person, and any number of Rap "artiest," It's OK that they watch Family guy, Jackass, and other programming like that. God forbid that there is a POSITIVE role modle out there for them. I know I am always on the lookout for a positive person f
  18. If I decide to reply, I never send a snopes link. I usually find a much more reliable source. I send it to the person who sent it to me with a personal note.
  19. I usually don't go that way. Good to know. Thanks
  20. The speed limit is 40 on Dallas Nebo. Nebo is 50, 61 is 55. Just thought I'd help ya on that one.
  21. Yeah, I figured it out (in less then a minute) then forgot to come back, and edit. It's kinda like playing a record backwards. Look it is what it is. Kids figure it out, they don't need a teacher ruining it for them.
  22. LOL, Both my older kids (31, and 26) were told "yes, if you go to college you MIGHT get a good job, but there are a lot more plumbers out there that make more then a doctor. In the mean time you might want to learn a skill that will always be needed." It would seem to me that instead of whining about flipping those burgers, you would go a head and do it. When things finally start coming back then you can go a head and, put that degree to work. IDK could be my logic and common sense. After all you do what you got to do to survive.
