There was a flipped truck @ Dallas Nebo and 61, Friday morning. We were moving mats for the High school, and seen the truck. There was a GSP officer, tow truck, and a couple of folks dealing with it.

I was going to buy some stuff for the backpack program. I ended up at Ingalls, and got a couple of things. I might stop in tomorrow to see what they have left.

Oldest DS left at 18, went into the Marines. Hasn't come back. DD left at 17, she thought she was grown (b/c Ga. said so) she is now 26 has 2 kids, married, and a homeowner. She is in college now. She took the long road, but she hasn't come back either. The kids know they could, can stay as long as they understand, our house, our rules. As long as your in school, if your not ya better have a job.

I pick DS up 3x a week from his middle school. I see kids of all shapes and sizes. Most of them are laughing, goofing off etc. like all kids do. Yes, even the "fat" kids. Just sayin.

We're with Chase. I guess it's a good thing that we renew in December.

I have a Cannon (got it in a trade,) and 2 HP. They are all-in-ones. One of the HPs is right at 10yrs old. The Cannon is OK, but when it's time to replace them I'll stick with HPs. Sorry I don't know where to recycle them though.

Look I wasn't being as "mean," I was being sarcastic. In any case, I looked over the middle school menu, I spoke with DS who eats said lunch. He stated he likes the lunch. The pizza is normal slices, not the new york slices. He also said that most of the kids have the salad w/o dressing. He is weighed 3x a week because he wrestles. He also plays football, and lifts weights. He will go onto spring training when wrestling ends. He has not had PE at all this year, mainly because he has 2 hour practices and depending on the season two hour games on the weekends. All of that plus helping DH

BTW I think the number is more like 25-30% might be obese. Of course that would depend on what obese is.

I'm not making excuses. I'm just pointing out that I don't believe the "stats." How many kids do you know that have heart disease, diabetes because of weight? I know more kids that are asthmatic then overweight. I'm not saying that there aren't overweight kids (there are) I just don't think that there are as many as the gooberment would have you believe. Just like with bipolar disease. In the eighties every teen was bipolar. Before that every boy was ADD/ADHD. This is going to be the new disease.

Well thank God many of those overweight kids wrestle, play football, ride their bicycles etc. I want to see these kids when they are adults. The kids in that ad aren't even as obese as they would have you think. I know quite a few adults that were "obese" when they were kids, and are now skinny. I also know quite a few people who were "normal" when they were kids, and are now obese.
