I am still in shock that a pair of folks didn't know what the word "resign" meant though I am suspect that football chick was just messing with us and actually knew the definition all along.

Sorry to hear you are out of work, and I guess the last thing you want is a lecture on resigning from a job BEFORE you found another job. But since you now want someone else to pay your way through life because they actually HAVE A JOB, maybe you do need that lecture. So here goes: DON'T QUIT A JOB BFORE YOU HAVE ANOTHER JOB. I had distractions when I was in University back "in the day". We called it keg parties and cruising in our muscle cars. I suppose WoW is no different than that.

My kids and I hardcode raid now. Still some progression happening though we are all between 6/12 and 9/12 on LK25 hard modes and down RS25 each week. I can see how folks get consumed with MMO's. Ton's of human interaction and a lot of fun gaming all at the same time.

I'm on an Uncle Sam network that has it's backbone in Atlanta, GA of all places. They only lock down game websites and porn websites. Maybe that's the difference. Candidly though, I can get anywhere (including World of Warcraft) from the Hilton or Dusit Thani; so who knows?

I am in arguably one of the best alliance guilds on a day-one server. We do heroic LK-25 every week over a 2 day period, then run our alts through 10's and 25's the rest of the week. We also down Halion (RS) each week because the drops are BiS. My DK main-toon is 100% BiS non-heroic gear for both the deeps and tank sets and I have been swapping in heroic 277 BiS gear as rolls permit. I am also working on three Shadowmournes; as I have Shadows Edge on a DK, pally, and warrior. When not raiding, I am working a shammy, druid, hunter, and mage. On the plus side, Ruby Sanctum is the new VOA. LOL Got a great drop on my DK last night (which is already at 6.2K gearscore) - the 2 hander off Lich King. What a beautiful sword. I immediately took it over to RS-25 to test it out and it's almost as good as Shadowmourne (and at least equally as rare).

I had a kidney stone in 2009 and it was due to Coca-Cola products. I will never drink soda again. Most painful 36 hours of my life, hands down.

Having been gone for about 2 or 3 years, noticibly missing are: 1. That guy Eddie that used to post when he was falling-down drunk. Some of those posts were hilarious. 2. Discussions about that crazy Black lady that would harass folks on street corners. 3. I think in general that there are less posts-per-day and new thread per day than in 2007. Is that true or is it an incorrect observation on my part? And for those wondering what brought me back: I am working 13,067 miles from Paulding and just a bit homesick at times.

To me that was a HUGE dissapointment. I wanted to get a country stamp in Belize, Honduras, Costa Rica, and some others but nobody would stamp it.

I have a pally, dk and warrior at level 80. The pally and DK have kingslayer in 25 and 10, and the warrior is 11/12 and will get KS this weekend. I have a shammy coming along at 76. My kids have stacks of 80s too and we raid together at night and on the weekends. We are alliance; which on my server means we NEVER get to see VOA. They have a 100 person vent and are well organized. Alliance are rather disorganized, to say the least. The coolest thing is that I can be in Asia and the kids in USA and we can be raiding together and on vent together. That sounds too familiar.

We used Ragsdale for a few years but had some major issues at the end which had to be resolved in front of a judge (to our satisfaction, but we decided to find a new company). At this time we use Precision and are extremely happy. I have also heard great things about Pinnacle, but everyone we spoke to with large home systems said Precision had the fastest response and highest satisfaction. And since hours seem like years when it's 95 degrees out.........

This year the kiddies are going to do the remote Blizz-Con. That's where you watch it at home on your big screen TV via your PS3 internet connection.

Next up for us is a repositioning cruise. That is where Disney cruises you all around Europe and then eventually brings the ship over to USA. Not only is trans-atlantic a unique experience, but it keeps you on the boat a heck of a lot longer than the 7 day Caribbean ones.
