Thank you very much. That explains a lot. I am fairly close to PM.

We are too far to hear the gates of the trucks. 2 touchdown and 2 field goals would equal 4 cannon firings. That is how many we have heard.

That is what I thought. I saw on the sign when driving by this afternoon that the game was @ Douglas, but maybe that was for something else. There wasn't a whole lot of traffic for 5pm on a game night. We usually don't hear the cannon. We didn't hear it once when they played North and from what I read on here, it was going off every 10-15 minutes. Anyone know the score. Maybe someone is up there setting it off when they score at the other field. It is just a thought.

We have heard and felt 4 loud booms in the last 1 1/2 hours. Anyone know what it is? I'm pretty close to the old dragstrip.

That would be fantastic for Paulding's economy. We love to go the Bass Pro, but we only go when we are in Orlando. We did visit one in S. Florida around Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale. It was a lot of fun touring those huge mini-yachts. The kids had a great time. It just made me drool a lot.

Just know, YOU ARE A REAL Housewife of ATLANTA. Those chicks have no freakin' idea what being a real housewife is.

I can get in touch with the owner. We talked to them 2 days ago, but were not aware of this going on or we would have told them to secure the house better before they left. Hubby and I will be keeping a better eye out now. We haven't noticed anything and honestly they really want a place to smoke to be able to stand it in there. The house was closed up for like 3 months, 90+ degree weather, no power and they didn't take the garbage out before they left. YEAH! Grose! Everything around that house smells of garbage (dead bodies if you ask me) and cat urine. They had cats inside and didn't

Well, first I would notify my NEIGHBORS that this is happening (J/K). Maybe they have some stuff missing too and can help you solve all this 'mystery'. But fortunately, we don't have anything missing we have noticed, but we will sure be keeping a closer eye out. Luckily the peeps next door have retired and I let her know when we are going to be away and she knows my routine and can call me and let me know if anyone is around my house. I sent you a PM. Hit me back, so we can converse in private about our problem neighbors.

I thought it should have already happened by now.

If they are good thieves, these will not stop them. There is a trick to them.

Hope he is okay. There was another young man in the dr's office that attended an certain elem. school off 61S and I was thinking he probably has strep too by what his mom was saying he had been complaining about.
-
Hubbby picked our youngest up from school yesterday. Fever, stomach ache, sore throat, and 'more'. Just came from the Dr's.......STREP!!!
-
Thanks for the heads up. Guess we will go the long way to the Dr.'s office.

We weren't able to play last week. Was there an announcement on there that they wouldn't be airing tonight? Can't find them on anywhere.

And to add the things that weren't in the news like: the garage doors being locked and when you opened them with the door opener it messed your stuff up, vandalism in Riverwood, cars broken into (although this has been going on a while), all the tires slashed in one neighborhood. That is all I can think of at this very moment, but if you archive all these they all took place during the break that was so necessary. So how much did that break cost the residents. We know the schools were suppose to save $ by being closed, but everytime I drove by a school, their were cars in the parking lots.

It is such a perfect place for Italian. I wish someone could have opened a GREAT Italian rest. there. It was all 'Tuscan' and everything. Paulding County really does NOT need or really want from what I have always read and heard any more Mexican or BBQ.

Thoughts to Ponder 1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die. 2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong. 3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger. 4. There is great need for a sarcasm font. So true for here. Maybe there would be less misunderstandings. 5. How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet? 6. Was learning cursive really necessary? 7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure

This was actually my hubby's doing. He put the cookies in the oven trying to hopefully keep the ants (we have those little 'piss ants') out, but did not bother to tell anyone. Well Sunday morning, I get up, make my coffee, head out to go get my paper, and turn the oven on for muffins to make when I get back. The hubby and kids were home (I didn't leave the house empty with the oven on). Well I get back and ask what that smell is. Oldest said, "I think it is the oven". I open the oven and black smoke hits me in the face. The back of my house looked like it was on fire the way smoke was b

Long story short...something plastic got melted in my oven. It did not completely melt, but some plastic did get on the bottom. I have a gas oven, so I don't know if I should use any type of spray. If this has happened to you....what can you recommend me to do? Thanks

is this supposed to make me feel better?

I wouldn't worry too much. It is a stressful time for now. Deep breaths. Both of my kiddos were born there. They were not c-sections so nothing was scheduled for me. They just had to be there when it was time. My youngest did have something going on with her heart and lung. A regurgitative(sp?) valve. It was scary, but they were great. Kept the hubby and myself calm. Three months later, had a ultra sound done on the little one's heart and everything was fine. Good luck. Just stay calm. Even tell your nurses your concerns when you get there. -
