  1. Yeah come on MrsBlue - didn't you know that if you don't have kids you aren't allowed to have an opinion on this? <_< I mean come on we don't have kids that means we have NEVER dealt with them....never babysat, don't have a little sister that is 16 years younger then you who you have been put in charge of, no younger neices or nephews, no friends with kids - We just don't know anything about them dar lil feelers we be so icolated - <_<

It takes a village to raise a kid as long as the village stays away from mine is the attitude that most seem to have.

  2. I don't have any kids and am sick of most of you parents blaming us for your lack of disciplining your kids. I'm sure that there are people without kids that if and when they have them would spank.

  3. I'm so sorry for your loss. I had one of my own and I didn't really have any support other than my husband. But I thank you for posting this, reading everyones response to you has made me feel a little better about mine. I'm sending you virtual hugs.

  4. An accident is an accident. I don't care what you hit. Many people hit deer and call the police/animal control people to let them know what happened. If a person hits a mailbox they shouldn't leave a note they should just keep on driving? If it was safe to stop I think you should. Just my opinion since I don't know all the particulars of what actually occurred.

  5. Just curious if anyone on here has put a bucket in the shower while taking one? I am amazed at the amount of water that would have gone down the drain. Yeah, I've tried it but now I have a question. Don't septic fields require a certain amount of water to function properly?

It is amazing- I save all the bath water/kitchen sink water to water my little saplings and flowers.

  6. Well quite a few Paulding residents did try to slow down the builders and their political machine the last SPLOST town hall meeting. Until residents demand and vote for No- or slow-growth initiatives, we are going to get taxed to death - and it will be our own fault (we get the gov't we deserve). Force the commissioners to deal with a cash crisis and then maybe we'll see them change their ways until they can be voted out. Short term pain yes, but better than death by taxes, traffic, half-filled strip malls galore, and over-burdened resources. Of course, it appears the housing crash and lack of water may give us a brief respite... but I would have preferred people learn their lessons and actually fight the fight. Ah well...

Problem seems to be when you actually vote No and they don't like it, they keep putting it up for a vote until they get their way or don't allow you to vote (courthouse). They use scare tactics to get what they want.
