Thats because it is updated on EACH post you make, for instance the very first post you posted if you go back and search it will say 3994 as well, as well as it will reflect your current screen name and not the one you had (if you'd changed it) when you posted your first post. If you look at your post count now, and then post again, look at the number change on the newest one.
