It was movin pretty darn quick cause I thought the stuff I saw on the radar this morning was it, someone told me no, that was not reaching the ground, so I broadened the map and it was up around Missouri, and I said that is supposed to be here by midnight? I don't think it is going to make it that early myself, I think it will stall and make it in much later.

I know it hit Gulf moisture, but it seems to me they kept underestimating the amount of snow right up until it was on us. I kept watching and saying hmmmm.

I have been watching it and it seems to be a bit bigger than this morning. I am interested to see if it stalls in Alabama, our dew points are very low compared to the rest of the southeast.

I am not really surprised, this is a clipper, I think they call it an Alberta clipper? If I remember right the blizzard of 93 was one of these. They are fast moving and extremely cold, I think they suck up moisture as they move. When I lived on the coast of Conn. the biggest snows we got were from these things. When they stall you get a lot of snow, I think that was what happened during the blizzard of 93 if I remember right as the thing slowed down the forecast kept changing.
